Coffee flight was amazing! Service was good, until it came to getting our check, then it took half an hour to get it back to leave. Which when I tell you I was basically trying to run away from this place, that it was a very long time.
Food was alright, I got the Trilogy and the queso smother just made it very hard and very messy to eat. Which I should have expected, however, my main issue wasn’t the messiness, but the fact I was extremely uncomfortable trying to eat the sandwich in the first place.
So this ginormous sandwich comes out, covered in queso dip and the table next to me goes “OH MY GOD THAT IS HUGE” very loud as it’s sat down in front of me. I thought that would be it, however then this couple TURNED their chairs to face towards my table, then continued to stare at me and me food for an extended period of time. I felt so uncomfortable. I tried to wait to eat my food until this couple got bored staring at me to turn around back to their own table and mind their business, but that never happened. I tried to cut this messy sandwich in half while being stared and ogled at the whole time. I just had to deal with the stares while trying to maneuver this extremely messy food. Finally, while this table left, they continued to stare at me and my food on the way out.
I finally felt like I could MAYBE comfortably eat this messy sandwich, when this man from another table walked by with a young child and paused at my table to say to me and my friend “I can’t believe you guys put all that down.”
I am so appalled and I have never felt so judged by the food I was eating by an establishment. Again, I know this isn’t directly the businesses fault, however those expecting an extravagant fun breakfast should be aware of the side eyes and comments that are to come. It so ridiculous. I’ve never felt this uncomfortable in a restaurant in my life.
I know the customers are not directly the establishments fault. But I have NEVER felt more judged trying to eat at establishment. If you come here for the fancy food and the tictok videos, just know not only will you get looks, but also words. I’ll be ordering out if I ever choose to...
Read moreWe have been consistently coming here for almost 2 years now and unfortunately the service has been slowly declining. The saving graces of service are the elderly woman who has the best style and the gentleman with glasses who seems to be a manager (?) They always are walking around making small talk and asking us if we are enjoying the meal! The food is always good so the main reason for 3 stars is the wait staff. The last 5 times or so they have consistently forgot things such as sauce, syrup, or jelly when we ask for it and they rarely come back to the table after the food has been delivered so we can’t ask again for what we are needing. Other examples of unfortunate events include a waiter trying to talk to someone else while we are ordering and then getting our order wrong, a waiter putting the order in wrong and ending up overcharging us because of the mistake, etc. We were just in today and we did not see the waiter until the check after our food was brought to us and we asked for jelly and hot sauce and we never received them. Overall the food is fantastic (i wish they still had the crab cake benedict) but the service is slowly starting to turn us away from...
Read moreI REALLY wanted to love this place, but I just can’t get past my first (and last) experience with it. I ordered takeout from GrubHub one morning, and I paid for the meal on the website. When I got to the restaurant, the employee who helped me said that she just needed to “run my card” to verify. I gave it to her thinking that they probably just needed to verify the order, because the receipt was clearly on the front of the bag, and I didn’t receive a second receipt to make me suspicious. I got home and noted two charges on my card for the same meal. I called to let them know, and one week later, a manager calls back and leaves me a message stating that “he can’t do anything about it”. I tried to call back with no answer. I called GrubHub and they were less than helpful. LONG saga made short, I called my credit card company and had to have them remove the charge. INSANE! The food was great, but there’s no way I’m returning due to the “it’s not my problem” attitude and the clear disregard for customer satisfaction. I understand that it’s not a large charge, but I work my butt off for my money, and I highly value treating people with respect....
