The dream merchant at first seems like a good deal to get a price between wholesale and retail for "designer" furniture. It is March 2019 and I bought a bed frame, dresser and mattress of one of their "luxury brands" at the end of Nov 2018, and they still have not got their sale fixed or correct. I have basically given up and will just take the losses.
BEWARE merchant takes days or weeks to respond after you pay for the furniture regarding any matter (communication great when making the sale.)
It took until mid January of 2019 to get the furniture even though it was stated I'd receive the furniture in mid Dec 2019 in an email from the merchant. I accepted and said no big deal, come mid January they finally deliver the furniture but they Did not show up with the dresser. The delivery men stated it never came and I had to call the store. Even though the merchant stated prior to delivery all items would be delivered. When I called the store the staff seemed confused but came up with "sorry the warehouse had a fire" in January and now it will take until March to get the dresser. Whilst, it was in stock with the merchant and the vendor website stated to ship in Dec 2018. Not sure how it never got shipped in the 1.5 months it was in stock and now its in a fire.
At this point I refused to wait a total 4 months to get all pieces of the furniture I ordered. Although frustrated and taking weeks to answer, the Merchant finally refunded me for the dresser. I decided at this point I will keep the remainder of the furniture and use it. Since I never had the full furniture set I never used the bed, come almost 2 weeks later and finally getting refunded for the dresser I decide to use the bed. Come to notice there was cracking already on the new "luxury" furniture on headboard. (Supposed to be full walnut wood) Sent pictures Feb 1st asking them to fix it and they never came up with a solution. Now come March the Merchant is saying the vendor is saying I "took too long" to report the cracking and that nothing will be covered. This is 1 month after I asked them to contact the vendor.
Wasted almost $2000, aside from losing money they were never professional post sale and have 0 regard for customer satisfaction once they are paid. I basically will just take my losses because after 3-4 months of going back and forth it is not worth my time. I please advise everyone to stay far away from this garbage company! Not sure how a "family" business has been scamming people for this long.

My first Experience with the company was easy. I knew what I want and ordered it even dealt with delivery dates being shifted and was very patient during the process. However, the financing that I chose would make the pricing of my furniture significantly lower. I chose this option did my paper work (However it was not disclosed in verbal communication with the sales Peron that If I did not follow up on the price of payments that I would be paying full amount. (However, I actually did with the finance company, and was told that because at the time had not received my furniture yet that I would not be able to adjust anything with my account, also keeping in mind I ordered several pieces of furniture that came at different dates i.e. making the payment start dates for the furniture different. There is NO communication between the business, customer, and finance company to communicate the process and overall best route for everyone’s sake. Now I am stuck having paid more than I should have. This is very sad because my initial interaction with the company was overall decent however this company does not know how to delegate customer issues. As a customer who feels very confused, upset, misinformed, I am obviously again upset. I do not expect to talked over and interrupted several times when trying to express my concerns. No empathy. I was laughed at by (Robert) and hung up on when I confronted him on his tone and lack of understanding. I called back and then spoke with another employee (Chris) who seemed willing to help and hear me out, but by this point I am already upset from the previous employee and this conversation went absolutely nowhere other than being told that this was only my fault, and that I am unreasonable. He said it's very hard for him to be professional because of ME. I didn't know that I had control over how you delegate customer issues.
Very unprofessional, un-empathic company, who has bad delegation skills. Expect to be misinformed about the pricing of your furniture due to lack of communication with the financing process. Really sucks because as a customer who was happy with their furniture, and initial pricing of furniture, and who was actually hoping to shop with this company again will...

I was looking for an inexpensive twin bed and found one that they were advertising on Craigslist at $159. It looked like a decent deal, so we hopped in the car and headed down to check it out.
The store is easy to locate and there is plenty of free parking, but that was about the last good thing.
First off, it's not a furniture store - it's a furniture micro-showroom; you can't take the furniture home with you. So, if you are wanting something right away, it's not going to happen. It didn't take more than a minute to realize that the pictures on the CL ads were stock advertising photos and not actual pictures of the product available for sale. The floor models are ratty and beat-up; one trundle bed against the back wall actually looked like it had be dropped from a moving vehicle.
Still, I was trying to be optimistic, so I found a bed that looked similar to the one on CL but the advertised price on it was $199. Not a terrible price, obviously, but a lot more than the ad I was responding to. When I asked the saleswoman if that was the correct price she started in on a spiel about not knowing anything about an ad, etc, etc. When I pushed the issue, she "checked" (not really sure how since I followed her and watched from the doorway and she didn't go to a computer) and came back over 5 minutes later, visibly irritated, and told me that, yes, the bed I was looking at was the one on the ad.
I wasn't impressed by the customer service or the showroom, but I still needed a bed, so I asked when I could get it. She began to ramble about how the warehouse was closed (we were there on a Weds) but, IF it was still available, it could be "as early as Thurs, Fri, or Sat". When I pressed her and told her that I needed a hard delivery date because I was on a deadline, she shrugged and repeated her line about "if it was in stock" and so on - apparently they don't have the ability to check inventory when the warehouse is closed?
I gave up and left. Then I went home and ordered a much nicer bed with underbed storage from Walmart for $169.00 with free shipping and it just arrived at my house via FedEx two days later. The only thing I can come up with that is keeping this store in business would be that they finance the low-quality furniture for people who need...
