This was my first time my family and I attended the Bright Nights at Four Mile Park. We went there to celebrate a birthday. We were all pleasantly surprised and enjoyed our experience. Even my teenager said it was cooler than expected. This park is great for all ages, as there are lot of interactive activities and plenty of unique light displays with educational content. We purchased tickets for 7pm and waiting in line less than five minutes. The staff were very friendly and genuinely seemed happy to greet their guests. The ticket prices were a bit higher than expected. A singular weekend ticket costs $28 for an adult and $21 for a child (3-12) and it’s an additional $20 per person if you are purchasing the meal plan. $48 for an adult and $40 for a child (3-12). We opted to purchase the meal plan tickets. Menu items are available on Four Mile’s website but pricing is not. Our meal was good and the plan came with a large drink and light up toy. With that being said, if you have younger children, the portions are large enough to share. Additionally, you don’t need to purchase a meal ticket as you can purchase food separately at the food truck, something I didn’t realize until later. Overall, we had a great time and an experience I...
Read morewhat an experience! so we took the opportunity to come down from golden by bus a 2 1/2 hour transport. one big descision we made was to skip hudson gardens great pumpkin display and come here because hudson just seemed too scary but we still wanted to enjoy some lights. we called ahead to figure out day passes to four mile (another review) and if we had to leave and then come back and of course we did so we spent a good 4 hours killing time in glendale between the two. we arrived 45 minutes early and there is security who does make sure you don't have open bottles. something about their liquor license does not allow outside drinks. so we got our tickets scanned i prebooked and yes there is food packages but we went to sams down the street because buying a 40 dollar food package seemed a bit much. you also can buy food straight up without a package.at their food truxks so onto lights. this opens at 7 pm and that was a bit too early i would suggest 8 when its real dark. and while there is alot of interactive activities this will only take you a half hour to walk the whole thing . very bright very beautiful lights some of them move so be...
Read moreThis event is a temporary seasonal pop-up that shows up for a limited time in the Four Mule Historic Park ☺️
Incredibly child friendly and a vast majority of the attendees had been parents with kids under 5. Since the exhibits are touch-friendly and interactive, it's a perfect place to let your feral child loose to explore and run free for hours of fun!
There's a whole area that's dedicated to glow-up children's swings and seesaw sets that's perfect for photo ops as well 🫶🏼 lines coming in can be reaaaaaalllyyyyyy long though—we arrived as the park opened and man, the line was no joke almost half a mile long from the door. Luckily, they seem very efficient at crowd management and even with all that, we got in within half hour of being in line, though it's probably worth noting that finding a parking took equally as long (if not longer), and we ended up parking also about half a mile from the gate 🥲
Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I'd happily make this an annual tradition for my child to visit—highly recommend for you to go see it if you have little ones in tow and are in the vicinity when the...
