This Vietnamese restaurant was shut down, so we thought it was due to COVID, but we were pleasantly surprised to read about their grand reopening a few weeks ago.
From what I recalled my first time there and my recent visit, the renovation is definitely 100% better: cleaner, brighter, and welcoming. This place hosted my group of 24 people. From the waitstaff to manager, they were accommodating to everyone’s needs. Food came out pretty quick too. Diners got theirs food within 15 minutes from ordering, which is a great turnaround time for this large group.
Now, the review on their food. I ordered bột chiên, a Vietnamese fried egg dish. Some people refer this as a fried rice cake dish. It has some pork fat pieces, potatoes, scallions and other items. Serves with pickled carrots & radish, shredded papaya, and some greens. A brown sauce accommodates this dish. This is my favorite food item here, ordered 2 out of 3 visits.
Another dish is mì Quang (Quang Yellow Flat Noodle Soup). Just my table alone, 4 out of 9 people ordered this dish. They gave 8 to 9 on the scale from 1 to 10. That tells you how good this dish was. One person said it was prepared perfectly. Not salty at all. Another person said it was tasty. Looks like I need to give this dish a try.
I also tried two of their bánh mì: spam & egg and the charsiu pork. I highly recommend the spam & egg! It was very tasty and my tastebuds were dancing! I shared this sandwich with folks sitting at my table, and they all had the pleasantly surprised look on their face too after taking a bite from it. This will be a new food item for me.
I also had bánh cuốn (spring rolls). A typical food item offers in Vietnamese stores, bakeries, and restaurants. Still, they were good as always.
This restaurant also offers boba drinks. Not on the menu yet is the sugarcane drink. At first, it tasted strange, but once someone said it contains an additional fruit, it made sense to the brain and tastebuds. Delicious!
The dining experience here was excellent. I plan to come back with friends and try a couple more items. 5 out of 5 stars!...
Read moreCame in the other night with a large group of friends. The whole place was packed and the servers were running around like crazy. Despite all that hecticness all the servers were still very attentive and kind. Our food all came out pretty quick and they stopped by often to fill waters and help with any accommodations. Despite the large rush, the servers were still friendly and patient.
I got the bun bo hue and my friend got the mi quan(sorry not the best photos). Both were very good. My bunbo hue had an abundant of meat, perfectly cooked noodles, and a flavorful spicy and lemongrass broth.
A couple months prior we came in and the food was kind of mid in comparison to before the renovation. Pho now had the best bbh in denver but then after the renovation they downsized their menu and if you wanted items like bbh or mi quan you would have to order off the “secret menu.” It looks like they added a lot more traditional items back on their new menu and the flavors have definitely improved. Definitely gonna be coming back regularly again.
It was nice seeing the manager step in and help the servers to accommodate the rush. I didn’t catch the name but the manager/partial owner came by and asked how the food was and we had a nice conversation. I let him know it was very good and we love the updated menu. I think it shows a lot when the managers take initiative to step in and help the servers and that the manager cares enough to ask about our experience and to have the humility to improve.
If you tried now pho right after the renovations and you were left a little underwhelmed, def give this place another try. Now pho has def stepped up their game in both their food and drinks. Can’t...
Read moreI had a fantastic experience at this Now Phở! As soon as I walked in, one of the servers greeted me and promptly seated me. The place's interior had a modern/style to it and offered various seating options. To start, I ordered the grilled shrimp and Kobe beef spring rolls, jalapeno buttered chicken wings, and the brown sugar oolong milk tea with boba.
The grilled shrimp and Kobe beef spring rolls were delightful, especially when paired with the peanut sauce. I have yet to see any grilled shrimp and Kobe beef spring rolls at other pho restaurants, and it was nice to see this combo on their menu! My personal favorite was the jalapeno buttered chicken wings, which were incredibly crispy and had just the right balance of jalapeno and butter – a perfect combination. The brown sugar oolong milk tea with boba offered a sweet and aromatic delight. The boba itself was chewy and soft, making it a must-try.
For my main dish, I tried the bun bo hue with oxtail, a rarity at other pho places. I love oxtail, which was so delicious in the bun bo hue. The dish had a subtle spicy kick that I thoroughly enjoyed. The flavorful broth and generous meat portions, along with the delicious noodles, made this dish a standout choice. If you're looking for something other than pho, I recommend trying the bun bo hue with oxtail.
The servers were incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding to the positive experience. I'm also thrilled to note that this place is open until 3 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, making it an ideal destination for late-night pho cravings after a concert or any weekend outing.
Overall, I highly recommend giving this place a visit. I truly enjoyed...
