May 1, 2024 Wednesday, Concourse A. Beef was hard. Noodles were chewy and under cooked. Orange chicken didn't taste fresh. Honey walnut shrimp was okay, but also didn't taste freshly prepared. Entree portions were small. Look closely at the picture. One item was rock hard, and didn't look like the shrimp or the beef. They opened at 5:00AM but it was after 5:20AM when they started taking orders. They only had like seven items out. The mixed vegetables looked extremely under cooked, and looked to only be broccoli and cauliflower. Although the cashier said hello, and thank you, she also spoke in Spanish to a co worker during my checkout. I definitely will not order here again. I could not eat most of that food!

I was able to get a huge meal in a major airport for about $12. What else do you need to know? Seriously though, this was a fabulous find. I had just flown in from Vegas where you can't get a slice of toast at the airport for less that $10 and here I was paying standard mall prices for Panda Express. Was the food good? Sure, it was tasty in that high fructose, deep fried, sauce laden kind of way. Good for you? Well, there are veggies in there somewhere. But in the end, the food was great for airport fare and I didn't need another bite to eat until I was home in Michigan. Plus, I had a pretty cool view whilst sitting there enjoying my two entrees and a side for less than the cost of a checked bag.

This panda express was the only good thing that came out of my trauma-stricken trip to Arizona. They should consider changing their name to "Hye-Ja" Express. Hye-ja (혜자) is a Korean term that refers to a generously portioned meal with great value. And I learned a new meaning of that word at a freaking airport. A little confession... Two weeks before my visit to this Panda Express, a friend of mine was visiting NYC from a foreign country. She wanted to try Panda Express, but I prohibited her from doing so stating their "lack of authenticity." What was I thinking?! I’ll forever be guilty for committing such an outrageous violation of her right to savor the true American legacy that is Orange Chicken.

My visit to Panda Express at Denver Airport was a pleasant surprise, and I would rate it 4 stars. Given the hustle and bustle of airport dining, my expectations were exceeded.

The restaurant's service was efficient and friendly, which was a great start. I appreciated the quick turnaround as I had a flight to catch. The menu offered a good variety of Chinese-American dishes, and I opted for the Orange Chicken and Chow Mein.

The food was fresh and flavorful, which was quite satisfying. It was a comforting meal before a long flight. The portion sizes were reasonable, not too small nor too large, making it an ideal meal for an individual traveler.

The restaurant's cleanliness and hygiene standards were well-maintained, which is always a priority when dining in an airport.

However, the one downside was the pricing, which, like most airport dining options, was on the higher side. That said, it's expected in such locations.

In summary, Panda Express at Denver Airport provided a convenient and enjoyable dining experience with tasty food, efficient service, and a clean environment. While it might not be the most economical choice, it certainly made my layover more comfortable...

This is for DEN Term A location! I connect thru Den a lot and have had okay plates of their stuff, but don't know what happened today! Looks like they now have a cook who doesn't know what he-she is doing. Plus the server was clueless too (average height guy with facial hair) So it was a bad "combo" in more ways than one! I had the mushroom chicken and Kung Pao and the only one that had any chicken at all (about 3 small pieces) was the mushroom chicken, but it had the consistency of GRISTLE! So that was inedible and it was all the "chicken" I received! The kung Pao portion, had zero chicken and if the chicken was cooked better on that dish, I will never know and so that's where the server was clueless, because the spoon is the measurement, but it should be a spoonful (not half!) and try to make sure you include some chicken, instead of just serving zukini and bell peppers! So yes, that was my dinner..half-cooked Zukini and Rice (don't eat bell peppers). Please do a better job of training your staff because is not fair to take our money and give us subpar stuff like I...

Thirty minutes before closing, the hot bar was low on food. One of the servers said, “I’m gonna go see if we have more ready in the back.” Second server says, “No, no, no, please no,” and rolls his eyes and makes a big show in front of customers, throwing his spoon down dramatically.

The first server comes back out and politely informs customers they are out of food for the evening, and the second one proceeds to exclaim, “Hell yes!” and begins clapping and celebrating. Again, this was 30 minutes before closing time — plenty of time left to serve food.

My issue was not the shortage of food late in the evening, rather, the lousy customer service and behaviors exhibited by the young man working the counter. These are the kinds of people that restaurants should work to keep out from behind their counters, for they do more to turn away customers than to create...
