After having a terrible dining experience at a different establishment last night all I could think is we should have gone to Playa Azul. Let me tell you this food and service is consistently top notch. The prices are reasonable and it’s family friendly. I’ve also been able to attend their Karaoke night once. I don’t participate but it was fun to watch as I enjoyed my meal with my family. Shout out to the chef! The sazón is spot on. My husband almost always gets a Tampico plate and I’ve had at least 10 different plates here and they were all delicious. Do yourself a favor and dodge those overpriced, poor service, loud locations with fake 5 star reviews and give this place a try. What was disgusting about this place? Playa Azul Mexican Restaurant has been in business for 21+ years. Your review is the complete opposite of this restaurants values. Maybe you got confused with a different a restaurant?

The "cocaine abusing drunk" owner is a lie. I personally know the owner and those words do not describe him. He is usually in the back working hard with the cooks to provide the best food possible for this customers.

This place used to be my favorite Mexican place because of the Molcajetes, and the Siete Mares. We went last week and the place looks like it definitely needs an upgrade and definitely new tables and chairs because you can't even eat your food comfortably, also got a Siete Mares and it was supposed to come with crab legs and a bunch of other stuff and when I got it I asked about the crab kegs and the waitress said "oh we don't put crab legs in there anymore " so then it shouldn't be called Siete Mares.
