Salt & Grinder — Restaurant in Denver

So I was on my way to Voodoo doughnut and decided to grab something real before the doughnuts... I should have kept walking. Ordered the Salmon Bagel. Has salmon, salmon cream cheese, capers, and pickled red onion and it came on what I assume is an everything bagel... The cream cheese is more like a sauce like you would find on a McDonald's bagel sandwich but nasty. Weird taste all around... Ended up dissecting it and trying each part individually and the only positive was the smoked salmon. Plentiful compared to some places but still not worth $17.28. Lesson learned and...

My husband got a sandwich which he said was pretty good, 7 out of 10. I got the beet salad. I will say the beet salad was absolutely delicious however the salad dressing was like basically pouring olive oil onto my salad. No flavor whatsoever. The salad itself was wonderful. I had to spice it up using salt & pepper. I went back and asked for a different salad dressing and she gave me a another vinaigrette but I tasted it before pouring it on my salad and again it just tasted like olive oil with a splash of vinegar. Had lunch here because Panda Express was in another concourse & literally everything else was packed. Pretty expensive airport food — you do not get the bang for you buck here, but what do you expect… you’re at Denver International.

I got a sandwich, bag of chips, & smart water which turned out to be $26.70. I tipped like 18%, but still that is ridiculous for a small sandwich, small bag of chips, & 1 liter water bottle.

Probably would avoid this place and travel to other concourse to get Panda next...
