Stoner's Pizza Joint — Restaurant in Denver

I can’t speak for all the food since I’ve only tried the pizza. But.. this is a pizza joint like it says in the name.

I’ll tell you why this place is so clutch. Coming from the east coast, the pizza in this area usually sucks. Not this place. The pizza here is so fire compared to almost everywhere i’ve tried. There’s a lot that goes into this decision, but none are bigger than fair price on bomb pizza.

The reason I ate pizza on the east coast was because I was broke, hungry, lazy, and wanted hot food. Almost anywhere else I’m expected to empty my wallet for some garbage slices, or pay beyond that for a decent pie.

I ordered from here at almost midnight, craving pizza for the past few days, and this place did not disappoint. Extra mozzarella on NY thin crust, personal size, for about $11 through grubhub and.. wait for it.. STILL HOT! Even though I wasn’t expecting it to be with a slight wait for my driver to pick it up, and sub 0 temperatures outside. I am only about 8 minutes away to be fair, but I’ve never been satisfied with a pizza delivery in denver...

There might be someone who likes it, but not me. The best thing on the menu are the cookies but they burn them all the time and way over cook them 3 times out of five. The times they aren't overcooked they are gooy and good otherwise hard and burned over caramelized. Just too inconsistent.

The pizzas have so little pizzas sauce it might as well be bread and cheese. The sauce is bland, tomato sauce sugar and salt. Whoever is in charge doesn't know what spice is. The dough and crust is just as bad. It's not chewy like a dough that has risen. It's firm and hard nearing hard tack type of cracker. Like it's just flour water and some sugar and salt. No butter to keep it moist or proper yest rise to make it light. Yet the pizza pie is greasy beyond any logical reason. Lay off the pam spray.

The salad on the left is what my salad was supposed to look like. But the salad on the right is the Salad I received. The chicken on the salad is very hard. And does not look nothing like the picture. To me, the chicken I was supposed to receive Looked like grilled chicken. The customer service was terrible. They all look like they were high. One of the guys that took my money made me count it for him because he just couldn’t count it. They messed up my order. I see no chicken on my pizza, but now I see why. That’s because they are using this bacon bit like chicken. I don’t know what it is, but it’s not right. I won’t ever go back. The workers did not have on any hairnets. Barely was wearing gloves. Touching their hair and touching the food. Half the gloves was on the floor. There are other locations in the city. Hopefully they are not this terrible. It was 11 PM at night...
