I've been to Strange Brewing several times and have yet to have a good experience. The beer is mediocre compared to many of the other amazing breweries in town. The atmosphere is less than desirable. And the female owner, who has waited on my husband and I the last two times we were there, is obnoxious. Specifically, we purchased a few of the Colorado brewery coupon books to use around town. They entitle the holder to 1 free beer. The first time we used a coupon the woman said "Ok, that's good for a free beer but it doesn't include tip." Should I have to tip you? I usually tip generously, but when you tell me I have to tip you that makes me not want to tip you at all. The second time we went there and had a coupon, she said it would be $4 extra for a beer that we ordered. Mind you, the beer was on their regular tap list, not like an extra fancy one or anything. These experiences compounded together make me write this review. I doubt...
Read moreWent on the passport for the second time. I gave 3 stars based soley om the fisrt experience. The fisrt time we went the staff let us mix and match from strange craft and witts end. This time we were told by a very rude server that was not allowed. The first time we tried beers from both breweries amd they were delicious. This time the server very rudely said not a chance in a very rude tune and proceeded to be rude rhe rest of the interaction. We would have been fine with sticking to beers from the individual breweries but the server was so rude it ruined the whole experience. Last time the beer and the service were both great. This time the service was so awful it soured the flavor of what might have been a good beer. I would not go back because there was no need for the level of attitude/ rudeness we...
Read moreStrange always has an incredible selection of beers on tap. Their "core" beers are excellent, with the Cherry Kriek, Farmhouse, and Strange Pale as persona favorites. They also keep an impressive rotation of seasonal and collaboration beers, which is really where Strange is on another level. So many awesome small batch offerings that are continually coming on the menu.
The crew at Strange are what make it special. They are like a family and you can tell there's a real connection. They go out of the way to take care of the customers and make the experience personal.
Great spot to pregame for Broncos games or other events at Mile High Stadium. The outdoor beer garden is fantastic on a sunny afternoon, we love bringing the kids (the homemade root beer is A+++). And they keep an excellent rotation of...
