Update: I was called within a few hours from the owner of the establishment on Quincy. I honestly did not expect a call back at all. This gentleman exhibited the professionalism and couth I originally desired. He offered information, a compromise and overall great conversation. Its very unfortunate how delivery apps treat restaurants, but he expressed his goal is to still treat customers as a priority. I am very pleased of the problem resolution from the Quincy restaurant owner. My only hope now is his workers take him as a better example. Receiving anything for free was and is never an ultimate goal for me. I work hard for my money like others and would prefer it be spent/support those who exhibit the qualities this store owner has. Thank you for the quick resolution.
Just had the most unprofessional encounter at the Quincy location. I FREQUENTLY spend money there. Ordering meals for my large family, so its never small amount of money. The manger, Alex,, wouldn’t give me any information to speak to the “boss ” to rectify my issue as he stated numerous times he did have any power. They offer their meals on all the delivery services but they don’t offer all the menu items across the delivery platforms. I’ve been able to make my order on Uber eats and then call the restaurant and add the item paying for it over the phone. When I did that today they told me I couldn’t and must have been calling another restaurant before. I absolutely was not. The item was a $2 (somewhere in that range) thai iced tea. After spending $100 there, I was shown little professionalism, care, rectification or compromise. The way loyal customers are treated will be the reason I will never order from this restaurant chain again. If your career is centered around customers, the way customers are treated should be a top priority. Disappointment doesn’t even cover how I feel about what used to be my favorite restaurant. Let’s see how long it takes Chawan (the boss) to call me back, since I couldn’t have any information...
Read moreMy wife was sick so we decided to order from our favorite restaurant rather than cook. She ordered sesame tofu, and shortly after we started eating she said it was "chewy" and not very good. She can be picky so I kind of laughed it off, but later I noticed that all she ate was the rice and most of the tofu was untouched. She said I could have the rest because it was too chewy and it hurt her jaw. I tried to eat a piece of tofu and it was like eating hard plastic, absolutely disgusting and inedible. I asked her why she didn't say something and she said she didn't feel like going out again to return it. I insisted, and when I went to return it someone in the kitchen was throwing a fit and giving me dirty looks because the rice was gone. What a slap in the face! We've ordered from this restaurant at least once a week for almost two years, and this guy's acting like we're trying to rip them off for some rice and tofu. How about taking responsibility for serving us inedible garbage when we're spending almost $20 a plate? This is just the latest example of the hit-or-miss food quality here. We frequently have to bring our orders back to have them fixed. I ask them to make it Thai hot and return home to find it's mild, or I ask for the vegetarian option and find chicken in it. Some days it's amazing and other days it's slimy and gross. The only reason we continued eating here after countless order issues is because the staff is very friendly and we liked supporting a local restaurant, but this latest issue has turned us off for good. I'm tired of wasting my time and gas driving back and forth. Don't be angry with me because you fell...
Read moreThis place used to be amazing! Great portions and good balance in their ingredients and flavors. My husband and I have been patrons since 2012 (we used to go to the Lakewood location). Unfortunately, it is VERY evident that some of their dishes have been severely impacted by shrinkflation. My basil chicken dish had a container that was about 70% white rice (normally rice is about 50%), and they added a bunch of cheap vegetables (huge chunks of red and green pepper and a ton of onions) to their stir fry recipe, decreasing the amount of protein and sauce and impacting the balance of flavor I've had so many times. This is super disappointing as the price of the food also went up by $2. I probably won't come back anymore even though the service is good. It feels like the owner is cheap and taking advantage of inflation pricing to make more money. It's a little icky, and I don't recognize this restaurant as a good value anymore. Also, I want to add that their front signage has been in disrepair for over two years, faded and discolored. While not a huge deal, it makes me question why the owner doesn't take pride enough in their restaurant to replace it? I think the people working here are lovely and kind and doing their best, but management needs...
