Subway — Restaurant in Denver

This was my first visit back to any Subway location after not eating Subway for several years. But after this visit I realized I should have never visited any Subway again.

We get their coupons all the time in the mail so I figured, why not use one of these? Ordered off the app using a promo code from the mailer. It was about 8pm and we were starving, and it said they are open til 9. We arrived just before 8:30 only to find the door locked, yet the Open sign was on. My order was accepted in the app, so we were confused because most places stop accepting mobile orders by certain times if they are closing soon. After knocking on the window for about 2 mins a woman came from the back, unlocked the door and said something to the effect of “Is this you?” pointing at an order on the to-go shelf. I said yes and asked if they are closed, because it says online they close at 9. She said yes, and then “we live in a world where these things happen, it’s not personal or anything”.

Years ago I used to work at the Aurora mall and it was always a mess before closing time…so I understand that you want to do your closing routine early so you can actually leave when the store closes. But all we have to do is walk in, grab food and leave. If you don’t want to interact with us, fine, but why lock the door?

Seems like the “fast casual” type restaurants in this area in general are declining. Clearly a sign to stick with supporting local if we’re...

I’ve ordered a mobile pick up using the subway app and my pickup time was 12:05. Instead, I went to pick up the order at 12:12. Despite my 7 minutes late, the server over there has spoken rudely telling she didn’t receive any mobile order whatsoever. When I tried to pull the order from my mobile, she just snapped and said, please wait for 5 minutes. Later she was helping the other who were in line (and I almost waited for 15 minutes) and also the sub I’ve ordered is a 6 inch, but all I got was less than 6 inches and the cookies were real dry, seems like they were from yesterday. Also, there were so many items missing in my sub( like green peppers, cucumbers). When she printed the receipt, it clearly says it is duplicate receipt, which means she already has received my order but didn’t want to finish it on time so I can pick it up. I don’t really understand the point of ordering online ahead and yet still wait in the line for almost 20minutes to get my order. When I took my order, I asked her name, she said to Donna.( I don’t believe even if it’s true) This is not my first time here dealing with her. Overall, this is a very unpleasant experience and I wouldn’t suggest anyone to go ahead and order online (since you should be waiting in the line when reaching store) I wish I could give no stars, but can’t.. so I’m giving it a one star. Absolutely...

Horrendous customer service!!! Walked in to order 7 sandwiches , there was no one else in the store and the big guy with the red nasty beard behind the counter said he couldn't make them because he was by himself and had messed up an order previously. So he could not follow directions to make each sandwich? So instead of ordering we took our business elsewhere. This Subway is declining like a the others in the area. Having incompetent people makes you lose business!!!

UPDATE: Tried them again after 3 years… same thing!! Horrible customer service, gets all orders wrong. Waited 10 minutes for them to open the store. Another customer came and said he had been waiting for 45 minutes. That customer banged on the door and finally Nate( work name Jacob) came to the door and said he was hurt and that he was by himself, but when asked how the order was wrong he said he didn’t make it. So one of the statements was a lie. I don’t know who runs this Subway, but they should be ashamed of themselves and should probably keep a better eye on operations going on in there. If he was the only one there, and he was hurt, why was he at work ??? I will be calling in the morning to talk to whoever is the manager, I’m sure nothing will happen but they need to know how horrible their store is....
