If you see my contributions on Google you'll see I'm an avid diner and give lots of great reviews. It takes a lot for me to give a restaurant a bad review. I called the restaurant and asked for a table for 2. They took my name and said no problem. I got there when I was supposed to, and watched them seat 4 tables of people with no reservations. There was a party of 2 in front of me at the door. He asked if I had a reservation and I said my name. The party in front of me had no reservation. He sat them first ( why would you seat a walk in before a reservation) and then split a 4 top in the middle of the room next to the door (freezing cold) after seating the people with no reservation at a nice cozy table against a wall in the back. I asked why I couldn't have a different table near the front window and he said all tables are reserved, yet he split a four top that could have replaced a table that I asked for. I should have been given the better table being that I was there on time and he knew that I was the one with the reservation. When I said why would you sit someone without a reservation at a better table and give me the one near the freezing cold door in the middle of the room, he responded they were here first what do you want me to do. Well sir I want you to honor your reservation that I made an hour ago and drove 30 minutes to get here, or give me the better table that has nobody at it and put the people that aren't there yet since "I was there first", at the other table. Needless to say I will not be going back to this establishment. We went to the gourmet Cafe in Parsippany and OMG The place was excellent. You should definitely go there if you're looking to be treated correctly. The owner was such a pleasure not a miserable, throw your hands up in the air, don't want to deal with it kind...

It was one of the lazy evenings where I did not feel like cooking and did some take out from That's Amore. While I will say take out was tasty, the meal would have been better if I sat down in the restaurant and enjoyed the nice ambiance and friendly service. Picked up near the dinner time rush and restaurant was busy. Those who were coming in, all had reservations. Would definitely try making reservations for larger groups to ensure you get a table. One thing I do appreciate in restaurants is the B.Y.O.B. option. Always a nice option to bring your own favorite bottle and not get stuck with a glass of wine that you may not enjoy. With that, this was just from my initial observations

Started with Calamari. While normally not a takeout item, I am super close so took a gamble. Calamari was still tasty when i ot home. Also ordered Chicken parm dinner which was served with salad or pasta. I opted for pasta. Dinner itself was also tasty and made for an overall great meal.

While the food was great, I was somewhat disappointed in the overall portion size to what I paid for the meal. I should note no prices are displayed on the menu whixh is always a clue the meal may be procey Chicken Parm is always a great dinner and usually I am stuffed with a snack afterwards. While I clearly devoured the meal, there were no leftovers for a snack.

Would definitely recommend going there and eating In person to have an enjoyable evening woth...

Driven past this place for years, and always just thought it was a pizzeria or another unremarkable Italian restaurant. Finally gave it a try after a friend recommended it, and all I can say is WOW. We were there very early evening, and the chef seated us and went over the specials before our wonderful waiter Frank took over.

We try rice balls everywhere we can find them, and the ones here are some of the best we have had. We had the rice ball special, served with absolutely the most delicious Alfredo sauce. The bread is baked there and it was very soft and delicious. My dining companion had the chicken and eggplant parm, it was a huge portion and the chicken was very tender. The spaghetti with shrimp and broccoli rabe was a smaller portion of pasta with 4 shrimp, swimming in a really flavorful garlicky broth.

Overall this was a really great surprise, with super attentive service and super fresh food. Definitely recommended(although avoid going on Tuesday nights, they have a $50 dinner-for-two special and the place can be packed with a line...

Found this fantastic spot while on a business trip.Quite busy and cozy restaurant with an excellent menu. It is BYOB however. Food was top notch. Calamari was perfectly fried to the perfect crispness. Shrimp Fra Diavlo was equally great - generous amount of shrimp with linguini. Sauce was not as spicy as I prefer for a Fra Diavlo sauce.... But a few shakes of crushed hot pepper seeds got it there. Disappointingly they were out of tiramisu on the night of my visit, but a delicious chocolate lava cake with gelato somewhat made up for it. Excellent, friendly and attentive service even though I was the only person dining solo in the place. A gentleman who appeared to be the manager/owner stopped by every table and thanked every guest on the way out. Highly recommended establishment and if I lived nearby it would be my regular go to. (Added note: Tuesday evenings are extra busy due to the Tour of Italy pre fixe menu offered for two or more diners only $50/couple.... Regular menu still available as well, but it's a great deal!)

This tiny restaurant is so amazing! For being a small restaurant, they have a wide variety of dishes and pasta types. We ordered the house salad, arugula salad, spaghetti melanzane, tiramisu, and cannolli. The free bread was so soft and crispy, and the salads were delightfully fresh. The flavor of the spaghetti was garlic-y, and bright from the pleasant plum tomatoes. Even the noodles were a perfect al dente. We ended the meal with a delicious tiramisu (generously portioned) and a lovely cannolli. Neither were too sweet, and were the perfect last bites. It truly took us back to Italy. I can't recommend this place enough!
