Paul Revere's Pizza — Restaurant in Des Moines

Brand new to Des Moines, just relocated 2 months ago and found this spot, open late and the pizza is good. We've ordered a few times and been pleased every time with the speed of delivery, and the quality of food. This time we recieved the totally wrong order. Not sure who's fault it was but I was the one out of almost 50.00 with delivery fees so I called the establishment and spoke to man named Mark who said he is the stores General Manager and I explained what happened, he looked up the order and confirmed my name I also requested he look up my past orders to see that what was sent this time is nothing like what I usually order and explained I knew it was some sort of tech error with the uber app, I asked that he make it right by sending out a new pizza or by adding a credit to the account so I'd feel okay about making another order after losing 50.00 and all Mark cared about was that it wasn't HIS FAULT. He wasn't greasping taking care of your loyal customers , totally went over his head . I explained to him that if he couldn't take care of his client and make it right then I would not order from this establishment again and that I would leavea review, to which he responded by raising his voice and telling me I'm threatening him. I will not be ordering from Paul Reveres EVER . That was my family dinner and there was nothing to it...

It was so late last night, it became morning before I could coast at the end of my day... I was SO HUNGRY, I could eat a half of a large pizza. But... where can I get someth-- wait just one minute. Paul Revere's Pizza is open! Yes, this pizza restaurant has an excellent delivery service. But, I felt like going for a quick ride from my residence downtown to their location at Indianola Ave and SE Park. Upon arrival, I just stepped into their establishment and I was cheerfully greeted by their efficient staff. "I'll have a large sausage and black olive pizza." $21 covered it with my debit card. I told them I would go wait in my vehicle. Ten minutes later, to my pleasant surprise, my piping hot pizza was hand delivered to me... I sincerely thanked the guy (I believe he was the owner or night manager)... then I was on my way back downtown! Paul Revere's Pizza has always provided me with the BEST sausage and black olive pizza in Des Moines! Just the right amount of fresh cheese, too! I ordered my first Paul Revere's pizza of this exact same ingredients when I attended Lincoln High School 50 YEARS AGO!!! This will be the hardest review I’ve ever written. To say I loved this place is an understatement. My fondest memories will always be from the Forest Ave location. We ordered delivery from here 1-3 times a week, employees recognized my voice and some even memorized our address. My love for this place had me blind! We’ve received burnt, hard as rock breadsticks from them and when called to complain was told we had to order them with a “light cook”. OK? I started to order with those instructions and mostly received uncooked, raw breadsticks. The nail in the coffin was when we waited an hour and half for a pizza with a long dark hair cooked into it. We were given the option to have pizza remade and sent out or $8 credit on next order. Pizza was $17 sooo since that made no sense I said make the pizza. Another hour and a half later, 3 hours from original order time and still no pizza. Called again, owner talked to my husband and the OWNER said to him “Most people still eat the pizza with hair in it”. I had to literally demand and scream for a refund because it was clear this man felt he had done no wrong. He expected me to eat human DNA? Ummm NO! You will miss our hundreds of dollars each month way more then I will ever...
