Perfect 10 — Restaurant in Des Moines

Everything about this visit on a Saturday night (march 22) was bad. No one there to greet and seat us until a long wait even though they were nowhere near busy. Our waitress took forever with everything and had ZERO personality. I wouldn't say she seemed mad, per se, but she definitely didn't even try to be friendly. She was just...'there' as a sentient being occupying space. We had to ask another server for help a couoke of times. The table next to us in the bar area never got bussed even though the bartender had time to check her phone. The nachos were bland. I've never had a nachos dish appetizer before that was bland. How do you screw up nachos?!! Our burgers were fine but that's literally the only good thing from this experience. There seemed to be a lack of communication amongst staff and/or bad leadership at this location. This location is also NOT on Yelp which is kind of (maybe) telling. The place was pretty dead, which, on a Saturday night during March Madness, tells me that this place won't be around for...

Both times I've been here for dinner, we have been sat, then completely forgot about. After waiting 10-15 minutes to order a drink, I've had to go up to the bartender to try to order drinks for our table. First time we visited, they did it. This last time they did not. They just asked my who my server was, to which I replied that I didn't know because no one's been by our table since we sat down. And THEN, instead of helping after that, the bartender asks me if we sat ourselves and that we were supposed to wait to be seated. Have also had two different burgers there and both came...

My server was Clara, she was the most fun and energetic server I have had in quite a long time. Food came out insanely quick and tasted amazing. I ordered the Hobo, and the sauce on it was ASTOUNDING!!! I 100% recommend this place, from the server, to the sports, to the food, to the drinks, overall just a great experience. If you are looking for a calm dinner, this is the place. Ask for Clara as your server and you will be leaving with a smile on your face! 10/5 stars…...
