I recently moved to the area and discovered this restaurant very quickly. When I was growing up, far away from here, there was a small Mexican restaurant in my hometown that was always my favorite and nothing compared. After moving away I always went back there until they closed. This restaurant is the only place to come close. I don't understand how they are never busy. Anything you get is going to be delicious!

I eat here about 2-3 times a month. I've had to take my orders to go since the Plague hit and a compromised spouse adds to the "be careful" factor. Blanca has our order up and ready to go when I get there and I'm out their door and home in 5 mins. The food is still at a perfect temp when I get it home, that's just outstanding! Don't forget to order a shot of tequila!!

Today I went with my family to eat at viva mexico my chile RELLENO didn't have any filling! When I asked our server about it he said " oh yes that's how we do it here." ???? How do you making a Chile relleno without the relleno? So I asked if i could have a discount since this isn't explained on the menu and he refused I asked for a manager and he said no without saying anything else he went back to the kitchen where a heard loud laughter. Much later he came back with an over stuffed Chile relleno but I never asked for it to be remade. I was no longer interested after he rudeness. I told him I didn't want that. Then to blow my mind with shock while removing our plates he knocked over our waters didn't stop as the water flooded the table including getting my phone wet. He didn't stop he just walked away when I told him what he did he said a very rude unapologetic sorry. I am completely shocked with this servers/waiters service. Very poor and...

Went here for the 1st time early on a Friday evening. Service was friendly and responsive.chips were light and tasty, salsa typical for a restaurant like this. This is not authentic Mexican fare, instead it what I refer to as comfort American- Mexican food. High carbs, lots of cheddar cheese and large portions. There’s nothing wrong with wanting refried beans, I had a beef tamale and a beef enchilada, both were decent enough to eat but not spectacular. For beverages I ordered a Paloma which tasted nothing like it should. I told the waitress who was polite about it & exchanged it for a house margarita which was your basic bar mix not super. The best part of the meal was the chips and refried beans. And yet I ate just about everything on my plate because sometimes you just want bad...

So now I know why the parking lot was so empty. First, I ordered the fijita burrito which didn't know it was a wet burrito did not mention on the menu. The worst part the basic taco was flavorless and the chicken chimichanga the meat taste like it was old had a refrigerator taste to it. Not fresh food it took less 10mins for my order to come I should known. The owner needs to read through all the reviews & make some changes. I felt cheated. The refried bean were okay & I've definitely had better salsa. Pretty sure I won't go back unless they respect my money by providing fresh flavorful food. I normally don't write alot of reviews. I gave them 3 stars being nice. The cooks are probably not happy cause thats not...
