Didn't know these cute little spaces actually existed. Try to pickup a few last minute items at the mall before my flight, I happened upon this. I counted six employees in attendance to start with. There was one customer ordering before me and I patiently waited my turn. The associate that was waiting on the customer before me totally disappeared without warning and another associate eventually proceeded to help me. At least 10 minutes passed and my order still wasn't ready. I've never even ever waited at that popular coffee house that everyone flaunts to, for 10 minutes. An irrate customer appeared from nowhere demanding her order with the explanation that she had someplace to go as if the rest of us didn't. The one and only associate out of the six I noticed was the only one preparing the food orders as if there weren't anyone else capable, qualified or assigned, I just don't know. I gave up after 11 minutes and requested a refund. It was an experience that wasn't one to make another visit for one the small strawberry smoothie that was ordered was absolutely ridiculous in cost for size, you are not the famous little coffee house so give us a reason to pay almost $10.00 for a small smoothie. I'm not exactly sure of the perk as a card member the benefits of utilizing this place but hey, whatever works. Just read in another review that if you are a Capitol One cardholder, that drinks are half off. Not one person asked if I was, and does your register not tell you upon purchase that the card used is or isn't? BTW I have 4...
Read moreThis location is typically nice and clean with minimal wait times, and the service is usually great. Most of the staff have been friendly and welcoming, and I’ve had positive experiences overall. However, my experience with one barista, Eileen, has been consistently negative. I visit frequently to work and hang out with friends, but every time she’s taken my order, she has been rude.
During one visit, I asked if I could use my partner’s MLB QR code to order for him. Eileen said she’d check with her coworkers and later stormed over to our table while I was on a work call with my headset on. We signaled that we were on a call, hoping she would speak quietly or come back later. Instead, she stood directly in front of me, loudly explaining the policy in a way that was over-the-top and unnecessary—her explanation dragged on when all she needed to say was that it's not allowed.
My friend even suggested that Eileen come around the table to speak to her directly, but she ignored that and continued talking loudly to us. Afterward, Eileen returned to the counter and loudly gossiped about the situation, showing no concern that we could hear the negative comments she was making about us.
While I completely understand the policy, her behavior was rude, unprofessional, and made us feel unwelcome. It’s especially disappointing because this location is generally great. I hope management addresses this issue, as it’s affecting my...
Read moreCame here today. They just recently opened. The cafe is very spacious and a good place to sit and chill. They also have some meeting rooms in case you want to work here and have some calls to take. If you have a capital one card, the drinks are 50% off. Def recommend the mocha and caramel latte. They also have seasonal offerings. The hibiscus drink from last year was amazing. The staff were very nice and they had people welcoming people in. I'm glad they finally opened a location in STL. Will be...
