Dewey Destin's Snoballs — Restaurant in Destin

Always loved this place because of how unique they were to other snowcones. However today i went and my wife’s snow one and mine were both very chippy and messy. My root beer float one was loaded with way too much cream and it just tasted like a ball of sugar so I threw it away. The ice machine definitely has changed and it was awful. It fell apart and made a huge mess and just tasted cheap. I asked the lady if they got a new ice machine and she said i don’t think so maybe they changed the blade and if that’s the case and it doesn’t change back. I do NOT recommend this place. Loooonnngggg wait, $35 for 4 snowcones small cones. The ice cream is a tease prob one tablesoon but it was the best single bite of icecream ever. I had the orange dream one, kids had mermaid (messy), hubs had the O'Hara or something like that. All tasted great lots of syrup (a little to much, no one could finish due to it just being to much) would recommend to share of ask for half syrup if you don't handle alot of sweetness. I love sweets but it was just to much. We will deff go back next time and i will have the kids share and ill get some ice cream, seriously the best ever in that...

Update June 2025... Still delicious and new flavors! Friendly service. Visited multiple times on this trip also. Never knew a snow cone could have ice cream in it...YUMMY!!!ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Our family actually went multiple times the week we were in Destin to get different flavors and every single one was terrific! I can't believe I've been coming to Destin for years and just now came across this place. Service was outstanding! Loved being able to sit around the dock/harbor area and eat our treats while watching the boat traffic, the water and the sunset. We will...
