Disappointing experience. We went tonight to finish up our 1st day of spring break. This show had an ongoing video about the family. At some point in the video it says no video or flash photography. So I took several still shots to go along with a review for later. Well my son went up on stage to finish an illusion that another little boy got scared doing. So of course the parent in me was excited for him and I recorded the couple of minutes with him on stage. At intermission, this lady, who doesn't greet us, she just says "were you recording?" At first I was confused because it had been so loud I still couldn't hear well. I said only when my son was on stage. She said He, I'm assuming Noah, says we need to delete all pictures and videos. Now, give me a break, this is 2025. Not only was it embarrassing, we were in the front row and obviously the entire audience knew our son had just been up there, but to just call us out like we had a huge camera set up recording the entire show. We are all about supporting local, small businesses, but in this case it could have been handled better. I, at this point couldn't stay out of principle. We went out to the concession stand and I approached the same lady who had just accosted us and let her know that nothing intentional had been done and as a parent, if you ask for volunteers and have my child come up there then they need to make an exception. Then she proceeds to tell me that they offer to send the videos, they record the entire thing. Not sure where it says this but that was not told to us at any point and I saw nowhere online. But lets be honest, why would I want the entire video?? I mean not sure why it makes more sense to do that rather than I take a 2 min video of my son. All in all just a waste of time and money spent on ticket and a ton of concessions. They also missed out on sales for the magic shop, my son already knew what he wanted. And this was at best 2nd rate magic. Although, we only have seen 1 other magician in person, Noah appeared to be awkward and trying too hard to...

Our family was excited to attend the Maximum Magic Show at HarborWalk Theater as part of our first day of spring break. The day had been fantastic—our 8-year-old had an amazing time driving the Hydro Rocket, and we enjoyed a great meal at AJ’s before heading to the show.
We were thrilled to have front-row seats, especially since our son loves magic. About an hour into the show, he was invited on stage—a moment any parent would want to capture. Naturally, I recorded a short two-minute video of him, excited to show him afterward. However, during intermission, a staff member aggressively approached us, demanding we delete the video. Despite explaining that it was just of our son, they wouldn’t budge. We weren’t even allowed to keep a simple recording of our child’s special moment. We ended up being forced to leave, turning what should have been an unforgettable memory into a terrible experience.
Following our honest review, we received a call from Noah, who continued to act unprofessionally. Instead of addressing our concerns maturely, he doubled down—acting as if we were terrible for simply taking a video of our own child. What’s even worse, we later saw other reviews featuring photos of children on stage, making their enforcement seem completely inconsistent. To make matters worse, he attempted to blackmail us, saying the only way we’d receive a refund was if we deleted our review. That, to me, speaks volumes.
I will not remove my review because I believe others should know how poorly we were treated. Our 8-year-old’s experience was ruined, and our entire family was left embarrassed by how we were treated. This is not how paying customers—especially families with young children—should be treated. If you’re considering this show, be aware of their policies and, more importantly, their attitude...
Read moreTERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! The show started off fine excluding the fact Noah is extremely awkward and honestly not funny at all, if I couldn't see him I would think he was reading these "jokes" off his hand, but fun for little kids. My brother got called up on stage to preform so obviously we take our phones out and take pictures considering it is 2025 and technology is at its highest, and at intermission we got publicly humiliated in front of the whole audience considering we were in the front row, when the concession person bombarded out of the curtain getting all in our faces saying we need to delete the pictures immediately in front of her and we were breaking the rules by taking a simple video and a few pictures of our own child. We make the decision to leave after feeling extremely embarrassed after the humiliating encounter. This whole situation could've been avoided by a simple relocation to have the conversation. 2 days after we attended, we receive a call from Noah doing nothing but blackmailing us, saying he would only give us a refund if my parents removed their revews, showing he didn't care about anything but getting the bad reviews removed that my parents had previously left (after saying he just wants happy customers). The phone call was 20 minutes long and nothing but him blaming us then threatend that he would "respond to our reviews if we didn't remove them". He was very childish and was just overall rude and unkind. Last spring break we saw Brandon Styles at O.W.A and it was absolutely FANTASTIC! (Who promoted pictures and videos) so we had very high expectations but ended up leaving with a negative connotation of the whole experience.
Would not recommend if you dont like being publicly bashed for...
