My whole family had a blast of an experience! I legitimately think we could come here every day for a month, pick one activity and one place to eat, and never do the same thing twice! My family started our excursion with a sunset dolphin cruise. A two-hour long ride getting a brief tour of the area. The Capitan did an excellent job positioning the boat, there were dolphin sightings on all sides, so no one was left out. Throughout the cruise, we had consistently awesome music, a high volume of dolphin activity, snapped some great pics of my kid steering the boat, and at the conclusion of the trip, one of the employees took photos for each family exactly as the Sun was setting on the ocean behind them. Great experience! After we docked, we walked the length of the pier and just took in all the different bars, restaurants, games, thrills, and sweets. Finally, we stopped at "Pizza & Daiquiri" which serves great pizza that you can also get by the slice and over a dozen different pre-made daiquiri flavors. If you're in the area you won't go wrong dedicating at least one day to the harbor walk

This boardwalk had everything we needed. We originally were coming to the boardwalk because we were supposed go parasailing and depart from one of the docks but the weather got sketchy and we needed to let the storm pass. In the 2 hours we had to wait for the next tour time we had to find something to do. It was just myself and my 7 year old daughter. We got ice cream, used their extremely clean and stocked bathrooms, did some shopping and play some virtual reality games. I don't know if my daughter enjoyed the parasailing more or the boardwalk, but she talked about her boardwalk experience a lot more. Since we live locally because we just moved here, not a day goes by that she doesn't ask about going back to the boardwalk. I highly suggest this place. It's a one stop shop. The only improvement I would mention is the lack of parking available without having to go park in a garage, but every place down there warns you of it prior to arrival so you know what to expect. Ita worth it.

It's a great spot if your looking to schedule a tour or fishing trips. Saw plenty of booths for that. They have a handful of restaurants but if you look at their reviews not 1 really shines or stands out. We wanted to order a drink so we stopped at AJ's . Well the only thing we were able to get was water and the only reason we even got that was because it was self serve. 3 bartenders and not able to get 1 drink that tells you right there the type of service they provide. As we were getting the self serve water their was a guy waiting on his oysters that he ordered 30 minutes earlier. We definitely passed on this place. Just a FYI to the owner if your making a $100 a day imagine having good employees and making $200 a day . Obviously I used a small amount to avoid confusion on saying if your happy with what this place makes imagine being happier. They have a few stores a zip line which we did was fun no complaints there all people running the zip line were super friendly. From the girl at the register to the gentlemen on the zip line towers definitely recommend trying this. Overall it's a location to get you out of your room but nothing really stands out besides the zip line.

Get you a visitor map and the menu mag from the info center as you as you park. It’s a $20 entrance fee and can be used for one day to come in and out of the boardwalk. Plenty of restaurants to get drinks, food trucks, as well as birds like brown pelicans and white poop all over the boardwalk. You will mainly see tourist boats parked that will take you out to the ocean for fishing or dolphin watching. I also saw a section for yachts for sale which was pretty cool to see. My favorite part was the non alcoholic pina colada pineapple drink from one of the food stands and he only charged $13 and we got to watch him get a whole pineapple and carve the pineapple pieces of pineapple to eat. Overall my drink was delicious! We walked the whole boardwalk to our money’s worth, didn’t do any shopping because their products there are too expensive imo. We didn’t do a boat ride because we heard there was a red flag warning in the water (and yes I know that’s for swimming only) so we didn’t go.

Local Harbor Day Review Our family had an exciting local harbor day on the first day of spring break. We kicked off the day with an exhilarating Hydro Rocket dolphin tour that had the kids thrilled and smiling all the way. Lunch at AJ’s was a delightful experience, with great food that perfectly complemented the day’s vibe. Unfortunately, our positive momentum took a hit during the MAXIMUM MAGIC Show starring Noah & Heather Wells. The show didn’t meet our expectations and left us feeling disappointed. Overall, spending the day at the harbor is a wonderful reminder of how lucky we are to live in such a beautiful, vibrant community. However, the steep $20 parking fee is a major deterrent for locals. It’s disheartening to see such a barrier for residents who want to support and enjoy our local amenities. A discount or locals’ pass would go a long way in making these experiences more accessible.

There is a lot to do here from zip lines, food trucks, cruises, shopping, 7D, dining, and more! You can spend an entire day here without realizing it! Their shaved ice food truck is amazing! One day we bought some food and walked the piers where we found pelicans and dolphins! We bought ice cream and enjoyed some sun and shopping. On another day we came and are at Margaritaville. If you’re a drinker they have a coyote ugly nearby. There are also a lot of photo opportunities here. Be warned they have reps that sit at the bottom of the steps that work for the mega hotel nearby that will act like local tour guides, but they are trying to relentlessly sell you packages offering discounts and free stays. Just do what I did and walk away. Then they leave you alone and you can enjoy the boardwalk in peace.
