TLDR: FOOD IS PHENOMENAL, OWNERS ARE GOOD PEOPLE, LOCATION IS STRAIGHT VIBES 🔥
REVIEW: Wife and I decided to give this food truck a try at 8:30pm on Saturday, this is what we got earls burrito, and Kimchi burrito. The flavors are immaculate. Earls burrito had a more italian like taste with the shrimp and the sauce, and American taste with the hush puppy mixed in. Absolutely delightful flavors with some salad mixed in to really balance out the meal. Kimchi burrito had a more Asian taste like a sweet and spicy sauce on its shrimp, some Asian salad, and rice hush puppy mixed inside. Sweet and spicy, is the flavor, but a good kind of spicey.
Next day we came back for lunch around 1pm and tried the Mexican corn burrito and brekky burrito. If you are a fan of breakfast foods the brekky burrito has all the good breakfast taste in one. Cheesy, creamy, potatoes with some Chorizo for a good breakfast all rounder. My Mexican corn burrito had the taste of a shrimp taco with some hush puppies crushed in and a salad with some salsa sauce that was actually really tasty. Great balance of flavor palettes.
Both times we got the "world famous" banana pudding, along with some specialty drinks from them. The world famous banana pudding is the stuff dreams taste like. Sweet, gooey, and tasted like a desert banana. 10/10 for the consistency and flavor. I tried hibiscus lemonade, very sour but I liked the flavor with Earls burrito. Wife tried the lavandar lemonade and it was very mellow flavored almost like a sour melon lemonade, tasted really refreshing with the kimchi burrito. For coffee I got the pistachio cold brew, very rich flavor and nutty. Which I do like 👍🏼 Wife got the toasted marshmallow, and she loved milk and sugar in her coffee so that one was like a sweeter latte, she loved it.
The owners are a phenomenal power couple. Ask them about their story and you'll get a good conversation out of them. Really sweet people, who know how to cook. Highly recommend coming out and...
Read moreIn a world that makes it so easy for you to lose your positivity, Destin will continue to give you reasons to think otherwise... Just moved hear a month ago, car overheated and I pulled into a church parking lot in between 98 and scenic 98. Radiator fluid and steam barreling out- causing quite the scene... 2 people sitting there watching as I pull in. Look up and see a interesting food cart sitting in the parking lot with a picture of red shrimp donning a golden crown on the back of it. It says Royal rednecks - "open"... Car is still spewing steam I've been bouncing around inspecting vacation properties all day and I'm starving so when I give it a try.... I never do reviews so hopefully I'll be able to download these pictures. All I know is I don't even really like shrimp but this chipotle taco is absolutely amazing. Oh yeah- and one of those people from earlier that watched me pulled in(?) Her name is Christine; she made this delicious piece of art. I can finally pop the hood to try to figure out which hose is blowing. She walked my order up to me and said welcome to the area. Thought you could use a free banana pudding(just so happens to be my fav)(what kind of luck is that?) ... And this is all fine and dandy- I thank the Lord for continuing to remind me that in a negative world, beauty and kindness is still very abundant. I just didn't expect it to taste so good🥳.... Thanks Royal Rednecks And Thank...
Read moreAwesome food truck! We were only in Destin for 5 days but we stopped here twice. Walking distance from Henderson Beach Resort. Food was on point! The Rice Balls were all amazing I had almost all of the different varieties. We loved the Chipotle Shrimp Tacos too! The shrimp were perfectly cooked. I can’t recommend enough… Do yourself a favor and check it out. Prices were extremely reasonable. And if you have a picky kid like I do, you will not find juicer and more delicious chicken tenders in Destin or back home! Seriously try these guys out. Wish I could share a picture but we scarfed it all down before my wife suggested we...
