My wife and I placed our order at 2:06 PM. We waited over 35 minutes for our order. While waiting, there were at least 9 employees working in different areas behind the counter. Only the Manager who was working the window and one of the cooks appeared to know what they were doing. The rest of them were running around trying to fix at least 3 orders in front of mine. One person never received their sandwich. It took 3 people from their party explaining to the staff to finally get the correct sandwich.
The gentleman before me asked 3 different employees for his fry, which was missing. The employees simply walked away and began working on other orders.
I finally told the employees that I had been waiting for almost 40 min. I wanted them to correct the gentlemanâs fry order and then provide mine, since I was next in the dine in queue. The employee simply rolled her eyes and smiled.
When I finally received my order, my order included an incorrect sandwich and my wifeâs sandwich had ingredients that were supposed to be omitted (receipt reflected correct order). When I did receipt my order, there was a speciality drink and ice cream missing.
I asked one of the employees who the on duty manager was. In response, she laughed and looked away. I asked her âare you refusing to tell me who the manager is?â She replied laughing and pointed to the Manager working the window.
The manager approached me and inquired why I wanted to speak to her. Simply told her that I had been waiting for almost 40 min for my order. She stated they were short staffed and simply looked at me. I explained the issues previous customers were having. She stated she did not know about it because she was working the window and most of the employees recently started. Due to the lack of assistance and her nonchalant attitude, I asked, âare you going to at least apologizeâ. She simply stated, âyeah, Iâll let my manager knowâ.
Please ensure staff at this restaurant are properly trained. I have never had such a problem at a restaurant. In situations like this, cooler heads prevail and I take many things into consideration before making complaints. However, no employee should ever laugh and roll their eyes. And managers should always apologize when the complaint warrants it. I would like to COMMEND the employee who was cleaning tables and sweeping, as she appeared to be the only one who cared and asked...
Read moreThis location was quite busy in the Drive-Thru line was long so I placed a mobile order for drive-thru pickup to help expedite the process. The initial person working the drive-thru was rude I got to the speaker she didn't say anything at all I spoke and she tells me to hold on.
I think to myself I've already placed the order it's already paid for do I really need to wait here and continue holding up your line. So I inform her that I have a mobile order it's already paid for can I just pull around she replies I'll be right with you hold on we're short staffed.
Someone else intervenes I want to say it was the manager (she's going to be referred to as the manager because she carried as if she is a manager) she speaks and says what's the name on your mobile order I tell her the name and she says okay you can pull around.
The manager informs me that they don't have pineapple mango lemonade because the machine is down and says she would refund me and ask what did I want in place of it. While this process is going on another young lady comes to the window and was very rude she didn't say excuse me or anything she just kind of shoved the manager out the way and hands the food out the window in a manner that says get your food get your drinks and get out the drive-thru. The manager overlooks it but I didn't. Customer service is about your demeanor and your attitude when dealing with the customer. The manager is the reason why this location is getting a five-star rating from me despite the fact that one of the employees there had terrible customer service.
Keep it up Young Lady. Hard work doesn't go unnoticed...
Read moreAs an amateur food critic, I recently had the opportunity to try the pretzel beer cheese chicken sandwich at Wendy's, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised.
The sandwich consisted of a juicy, crispy chicken breast that was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The pretzel bun was soft and chewy, with just the right amount of saltiness to complement the savory chicken. The beer cheese sauce was the real standout, though, adding a rich and creamy flavor with a subtle hint of beer that truly took the sandwich to the next level.
The meal also came with a side of crispy fries, which were hot and fresh with just the right amount of salt.
In addition to the sandwich, I also ordered a diet Dr Pepper to drink, which was the perfect complement to the meal. The soda had a crisp and refreshing taste, with just the right amount of sweetness to satisfy my thirst without overwhelming my palate.
As for the drive-thru experience, I was impressed with the quickness and efficiency of the service. Despite the long line, the staff worked quickly to take my order, prepare my food, and hand it to me in a timely manner. The sandwich was still hot and fresh when I received it, and the fries were perfectly crispy.
Overall, I would say that my experience at Wendy's was a positive one. The pretzel beer cheese chicken sandwich was a delicious and satisfying option, the diet Dr Pepper was a refreshing beverage, and the drive-thru service was quick and efficient. If you're in the mood for a tasty fast-food meal, I would definitely recommend giving this...
