I'm honestly blown away by how I was treated by restaurant crew, the grill guy, the line worker, and the manager... the only friendly person who actually acknowledged me as a person was the Cashier, who is a great asset to the company btw. I get up to the line and the grill guy is just walking around looking at things while the one girl on line is trying to take all of the people's orders at once. She scooped my rice beans and meat and then moved onto the next 4 customers after me... before I asked her what is going on and why she is leaving my food to get cold while I wait for her to prep the food for the people behind me in line. The person behind also said "yeah what is going on? Why are you working on their orders instead of finishing ours." The girl acted as if neither one of us existed and continued to focus on the customers behind us. So there is a manager right there this whole time who isn't even paying attention to what is going on. So I say where is the manager to her and she says I am and I asked her what is going on and why the line worker is ignoring us? She says nothing. So I tell her I used to be a manager at chipotle down in Ohio and I know what this place is supposed to function like and you are not taking care of your team like you should be. She said nothing other than, what else do you want on the bowl. Then I had a really pleasant interaction with the cashier which made me feel a good but better about the disrespectful attitude from the other employees. To top it all off, after I pay for my meal and feel all jittery from having to say something because I wasn't being seen, I then go to get a fork and napkin and there isn't a single napkin, fork, spoon, or condiment, and the counter was super dirty. It was at this point as I exited the door, that I choose to leave this review. I already avoid this particular chipotle because every time It's clear as day that the workers have no idea what is going on, no passion for restaurant culture, and there is huge lack of empowerment occurring in this particular chipotle. I sure do hope corporate takes this review seriously and does something to address the major issues in this place that are associated with this current crew of kitchen and service managers. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk š§” I didn't leave this review cuz I'm mad, but more so disappointed, yall can do better!...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf I could give this a rating of zero stars, I would. The customer service at this location is abysmal- the worst I have ever seen at a Chipotle (or ANY restaurant for that matter). I placed my order online at 8:40 pm for a 9:00 pm pickup. I arrived to pick up the order a little after 9:00 (approximately 9:05), and when I arrived I sat at the pickup window for about 5 minutes before any employee even acknowledged me waiting there. During this time several employees saw me waiting, (some walking around on their phones, etc.) but I was still not helped. One employee even came up right next to the window, picked up her phone for a few seconds, put it back down, and walked away without even acknowledging me there. When someone (finally) came over to assist me, I (very patiently and kindly) gave them my name and told them I had a pickup order. I was then told that my order was not ready and would not be made because they ran out of food and they were closing in one hour. I was then told to request a refund on the app. However, the whole time I am waiting I am watching food being served to other customers.
I also (very reluctantly) want to note that the people being served inside were of the same ethnicity as the employees working at that time- and I TRULY hate to even bring this up, but I honestly felt that contributed to the situation, as uncomfortable as it is to say (and I really want to be wrong about this). I gave the staff no reason to be treated this way. Even when I was made to wait, I gave the employees the benefit of the doubt and was completely polite and kind to the staff. I did not give them a hard time when they said they ran out of food (even though I could clearly see that was not the case), or respond negatively when they acted like my being there was a complete inconvenience to them. This was certainly not the experience I was anticipating, especially considering I had tipped on my order as well (although you should not have to tip to be afforded common courtesy as a paying customer).
I have never had such terrible customer service, and have always thought Chipotle to have a higher standard of quality and service. I don't understand how they are still operating honestly, but I doubt they will stay open for long if this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI would rate this location 0āļø if available! UPDATE:(7/18/24) I received a response back from this review from the owner saying "to email Customer Care".. Against my better judgment I went ahead and did so. The response I received back from Timothy (Customer care coordinator) was That "They would bring it up in their next leadership meeting." What a Joke!! Which is why I started not even waste more of my time. Basically, screw me being inconvenienced plus time wasted waiting in a line for 20 mins just to get embarrassed by a girl who works there... Once again, if you are going to eat CHIPOTLE, DON'T VISIT HERE! The horrible service is why there have been several incidents between Chipotle employees and customers.. This must be a franchise cause I know corporations would have expeditiously made the situation right for the customer. I have posted screenshots of our emailed conversation with Customer Care for validity purposes.
(7/16/24) AVOID THIS CHIPOTLE LOCATION!! SAVE YOUR TIME! IM SURE THEY WILL BE OUT OF WHATEVER YOUR TASTE BUDS DESIRE. They always run out of stuff.. especially grilled veggies and queso!!! I have came to this location at least 4 times, and they never have everything, and sometimes their probably just too lazy to take some more out fridge and warm up. Employees attitudes are horrible, not good at all.. I was there 1 month ago and this little teenager girl who is preparing my food .. Told me " Why didn't you ask for sour cream on the side before she closed the bag.?" As if it was super hard to just me some darn Sour Cream. ALL I wanted was a small cup to go. IT COST NOTHING, $0 TO BE NICE TO PEOPLE. YOU DONT KNOW WHAT PEOPLE GOT GOING ON IN THEIR LIFE. I'm a grown man! I'm not gonna let a teenager or anybody for that fact talk to me crazy.. The manager overheard everything and didn't try to make it right for the customer.. If she don't wanna work...
