Went to this ace hardware today looking for Hoover carpet cleaning solution asked 3 people they sent me to the cleaning supplies isle one of them never said a word just started walking as if to follow them asked the person who led me to the cleaning supplies isle it was not there asked one more person before I left nothing not one of them thought we sell carpet cleaners maybe it's up that isle I went miles away to home Depot of course they had it. Got home and I just thought to myself I know they should've had it go online and yes they did have it so it was with carpet cleaners how is it that no one knew that information you lost a sale inconvenienced a potential customer I worked retail so I know people can be a bit much but I asked a simple question and got a it's down here type of answer even though I was polite each time I asked one no words and 1 quick it's down there and no we don't have it wow what type of customer service is that..... terrible 😔 I delt with the worst of customers racist, rude indignant, lay money down when you have your hand out to receive it and I still gave great customer service I never left a bad review no matter how bad the service but this bothered me so much i had to i stay 15min away from this store and had to drive all the way to 8 mile for what i was...

Went to this Ace after another store called ahead of time. We were buying a large Big Green Egg and the nest that goes with it. The employees kept arguing about how much it weighed when the younger employee (who was nice) obviously had looked it up and said it’s about 160 lbs. We said that’s fine, however the other man helping pretty much did everything he could to talk us out of buying it. He was rude, not helpful at all, his questions were quite pointed and snarky … clearly spending $1500 is no big deal there. The woman attempting to help was nice although same attitude of insisting we can’t possibly lift it. They must get sales like that all day long they don’t need our business. At one point he said they would be using a ladder to get it into our car? Huh? Between my husband and myself we can lift 160 lbs but they kept telling us no … so we walked out! I have purchased items from this location several times and it has always been a great experience until today. I am appalled at the way I was treated by the cashier. I made two purchases in one visit, and the second time at the counter he was extremely rude. The young man threw my items in the bag, and left two products on the counter. I actually pointed to the items to ensure they made it into the bag. Rarely do I write reviews, but today I was extremely annoyed and upset by the way I was treated.

I'm giving one star only because two other employees, Mark and a female African American, assisted me at the key counter and in the lock aisle, were exceptionally helpful and courteous. If it were not for them, I would have left all the items at the...
