Expect to wait a long time and probably get a drink you didn't order... I am loathe to complain when I can afford to buy a $5 coffee drink, but for that $5 I would expect a major corporation that provides them to hav a system that works. I'll try keeping this short, and apologies for the all caps stuff. 1) Plenty of staff, but usually only one person making drinks and other staff not helping with customers (getting coffee, food for register person). 2) Register people consistently don't know how to properly place an order (If I ask for a Triple Venti with 6 pumps of caramel, I shouldn't get a Venti with three pumps of caramel, right??? I have no problem with new employees, but if you don't hear me, ask, and if you don't know how to enter an order ask for help, AND if t=you passed training and still an't, then Starbucks needs way better training programs). 3) If register people don't get non-espresso coffee or food items, often you wait a long time, then have to go back and ask for them. Meanwhile additional staff, who maybe should be getting these items are doing nothing besides talking. 4) Drinks are not called out most times, and when they are they don't read them properly (Come on, peeps! You WORK for Starbucks! Shouldn't it be quite easy to READ THE LABELS YOUR PRINTER MAKES FOR THE CUP?????). 6) This is more for Starbucks, the company. How many drinks do you throw away because your register people don't take the order properly? I understand you make a killing on these drinks, but think how much more you could give back to coffee growers, charities, or your employees in pay raises/benefits if you didn't waste so much product. Watching a drink get made then subsequently thrown away because it wasn't what the customer asked for it awfully sad. And totally unnecessary. Maybe simplify your register menu board for employees? Anyway. I couldn't care less if the employees are friendly, and those at the Mack store are often indifferent at best, because I'm not paying for niceness I am paying for a correctly made (and pricey) coffee drink. This store does that poorly. I think Starbucks has been around way too long to not have better systems to ensure I get what I pay for...
Read moreI love this coffee shop, I typically come in the morning and the ENTIRE staff is a breath of fresh air. Today I went towards early evening around 4pm or so, upon arriving with my baby brother who’s is a super hero 🦸♂️ (he’s special needs) I was warmly greeted by Landon (I believe the manager) she was so pleasantly sweet and I loved the tone of her voice greeting us.
WILLIAM is truly the superstar here, the place was empty and I encouraged my superhero of a brother to place his own drink and food order, not only did William acknowledge my baby brother with greetings when my brother who’s semi verbal pointed to the food he wanted William walked over to ensure his was liking the right thing for Jordan (said brother) I was really taken back by his kind gesture and he did it a few times as my brother kept changing his mind (glad the place was empty lol) William acknowledged his correct order and it was pleasantly placed. Not only that I informred William Jordan would like to pay with cash himself and he gladly took my brothers payment & I was so grateful to him and his staff for including my baby brother as a human being who’s learning life’s necessities. KUDOS TO THIS LOCATION inclusivity doesn’t just mean LGBTQ+ but ALL people in every form. I will FOREVER CHOOSE THIS...
Read moreThis starbucks location has horrible service. 3 different occasions I’ve had issues coming here. One of the times I had mobile ordered something and with no note about it on the app, the inside of the store was completely shut off to customers for some reason, leaving the only way to get my drink through the drive thru. Picking up a drink that was waiting ready on the counter easily turned into waiting in a line for 45+ minutes because no one was allowed to grab their orders. Another experience was ordering a sandwich and drink and having another person take my sandwich, and when I brought this up to the employee and the cash register, she rudely dismissed me and told me that she doesn’t deal with already made orders. I never got a refund. Lastly, after updating my birthday and going in for the free drink promised, the employee working the cash register rudely said that it wasn’t possible and my app didn’t display anything. Among those 3 experiences, this location tends to always be out of items for refreshers and basically any other drink I’m ordering half the time. You’re much better off going to the starbucks on Hollywood as their service is...
