My name is Kara Abdurrahim and I'm currently employed at Henry Ford Hospital main campus as a Information Intake Officer. When ever I'm scheduled to work I always purchase the tuna. The cost for Tuna is .79 cents for a scoop. I've never had a problem paying for the tuna with my debit card. On Wednesday June 12, 2019 I went to purchase a scoop of Tuna like I always do but this time I was told by Toni ( a white female worker ) that she was unable to ring up my purchase because she didn't have the code for it and that only managers were able to access it. I promptly told her that " I buy this almost every day and have never been told that" Toni ( white female worker) then started having a very rude attitude and tone and stated "well you just gonna have to wait because I got people in front of you" I was forced to wait 20 minutes while the 2 other workers prepared sandwiches for 3 other people. When the first worker took my order she scooped the Tuna and put it in the container with out the top on it and it sat there uncovered the whole time. The point is that Subway has been around for a long time but I think that I will never purchase your products again if the people you hire are lazy and liars. Just because it was busy and she didn't want to take the time to do her job effectively and she was incompetent. I'll bring my tuna from now on. Read moreI went for dinner for my family for 2 foot longs around 10:40 pm. Portia was the subway employee who saw us and told nothing will be served for next 20 mins, while she is doing nothing. I left to nearby bigby coffee and grabbed a muffin in the mean while. While I was passing by I noticed that she is serving other customers (less than 10 mins- I don't understand while she refused to serve us for 20 mins). So, I waited in the line and ordered 2 foot longs. She was very unclean, put her finger in ear and scooped some possibly wax and cleaned it with a subway bill, threw it in the trash can. She didn't even wash her hands and without any gloves, she grabbed 2 sheets of paper to roll my foot longs. She was very rude while preparing the foot longs. At billing, she just let me insert the card and left to prepare the next sub. She never greeted anyone, and was very RUDE. Read moreI’m a regular customer, eating here 3-4 times a week. Today the store was out of anything diet/cold to drink. The cooler was literally empty and the fountain pop was also empty They had a warm Diet Pepsi, which I purchased. I asked for a cup for ice and I was told that I had to pay full-price for a soft drink despite my bottled drink purchase.
I’m not mad at the employee who is just standing by the franchisee’s rules, but I’m very upset with the franchisee.
