Motor City Coney Island 7 mile/Telegraph — Restaurant in Detroit

DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR FOOD.

Never had an experience like this in my life. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!!! The date is 05/07/23. I’ll try to keep this short. I ordered my usual that always get from this place. The last TWO times i went there, they forget my fries twice but i didn’t try and get my money back or make a big fuss like most people would, I just took the loss and hoped it doesn’t happen again. This time was different. My Gf ordered a chili cheese fry that she ALWAYS gets from this location. Once she got toward the bottom of the food, there was a stable IN HER MOUTH. I live around the corner from this place so this all happened in the span of 20 minutes or so. I drove back up to there and they claimed not to even remember me coming up there. I couldn’t believe what i was hearing. No manager available of course. I asked for a refund and they kept saying i was basically lying, and they don’t remember me coming in. It’s not about the money Coney Island, it’s the fact that my gf found a staple in her MOUTH. Before i went up there, i made sure it didn’t fall from the bag, maybe even the from the receipt?? No, there wasn’t even a receipt. the boxes were not stapled together. i don’t even own a stapler. So that obviously came from somebody not paying attention. thats disgusting and y’all should be ashamed. I was the dude in all grey that came today. i want y’all to know who this was. i tried calling the cops to see if it was anything i could do. they said no. Once again, just gotta take my Loss. I didn’t come in there yelling either. i politely asked for a refund, twice and explained my case to the female at the restaurant, and basically was told i was lying. All I can do is spread the word and tell people DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR FOOD.

Hopefully a manager can see this and make it right, and maybe i’ll take this down. I’ll make sure the whole city knows about y’all.

With the exception of 2 young ladies, and a cook the customer service here sucks. I have been in the lobby where the Caucasian cashier talks about the customer after they leave the window/ walk out the door. I just shake my head. Well tonight she felt like she wanted to talk about someone( me) but the thing is I heard her. Tried to walk it back. But the damage was done. The rudeness is unbelievable. The ONLY reason they behave this way is because the owner/manager will not hold these flamingos accountable so they act like they in the wild. Imma give these ladies a piece of advice. Be careful who you talk mess to. You never know who you dealing with. One day you gonna run into that person who is just as ignorant as you, or who just wants to teach your foul mouth self a lesson. You skated by tonight. You should thank my man. Cuz he truly helped your silly behind out of some real problems. Stick to taking orders, and anatomy. Only thing your mouth good for. Stop...

The food used to be great under the previous ownership. The food is terrible now. No love just food dumped on pitas or buns. I expressed on a few occasions that when you make a grilled chicken pita, you cannot put the lettuce and tomatoes under the hot chicken as it will make the veggies soggy. Who does that? I gave them one more time, ordered two chicken pitas one with no tomatoes. The one with no tomatoes was also made without lettuce so it was just chicken on a dry ass pita with some cheese melted. The second one the lettuce and tomatoes were under the chicken and warm and soggy, rather than the veggies being cold and crisp. Either the cook is dislexic or they simply don’t care. I will never go there again and I was a weekly or several times a week customer under the previous ownership. The turkey burgers used to be great now they are terrible and unseasoned the cheese isn’t all the way melted and it’s just...
