Subway — Restaurant in Detroit

I go here all the time because it's close to work. This place lives up to the Subway mantra of "Never awesome, but never terrible"...

That being said...

I only call her this because she doesn't wear a name tag... "The little Indian woman" is the WORST customer service worker I've ever met... and what makes it worse, is that she can't even put a sub together NEATLY... if those were her only problems, I wouldn't have even posted this... but today, when I walked in... she was the only one there. She was talking on her cell phone. She ended her call to prepare my sub, but couldn't stay off her phone long enough to ring me up. She rang me up incorrectly, she didn't hear my requests... twice... and I even said to her that she should probably hang up and help her customers before talking on the phone. Did she hang up? Nope! Went right on with her conversation. Customers were in the lobby and shaking their heads in disbelief.

POOR customer service on her part. The other older lady there that wears glasses is a rock star. She's on point. Have HER make...

AVOID THIS SUBWAY After I paid, the African American guy working just walked away and left my sandwich on his side of the glass wall. Couldn't get to it because of said glass wall. Nobody else was working besides him. Eventually I was able to get my hand through the little door/spinner and grab it myself. Employee didn't know how to make the sandwich or how to use the sandwich toaster. Attached pic is the sloppy untoasted mess I was served today 9/3/21.

Update 10/26/21: Went back to give them a second chance as it was just one employee who I assumed wouldn't be working this time. Went in, different worker as expected, she gave me the wrong bread, forgot the cucumbers, and gave me what tasted like caeser dressing when I asked for ranch (it was definitely not ranch.) She also heated some of the ingredients in the microwave? I guess the owner does not care if all of his subways are garbage, it is just more money for him. Do not recommend...

Went on Aug. 11, 2021 for lunch. First they charged more than the posted advertised price. And when I pointed it out she said she cannot change the bill because its "corporate". She was not going to give me a refund or adjust the price. Second the diet-coke machine only served water. There was no notice around this option not being available. When I pointed out the discrepancy she yelled at me and told me to not come back. One couple just walked out of the store after hearing the exchange. I would not...
