Wasabi Korean & Japanese Restaurant — Restaurant in Detroit

We came in as a group of six. We have all been servers at one point and we were disappointed with our server. He brought each seat water but never asked if we wanted anything to drink. We had to ask 5 times for a drink menu, I then got up and grabbed it myself. I ordered tea and my friend ordered a martini that never came. We were never asked if we wanted anything else with our meal. The server brought out a pile of plastic forks and spoons and dumped them on a napkin in the middle of the table. He never brought us chopsticks or sauces for our table. We had to grab those ourselves. He did not know the sushi he brought out we had to wait for him to bring out a receipt so we could separate the correct rolls. He was not attentive to our table. The place was not crazy busy for this to be the case. He only refilled one persons water on the table in the time that we were there. We weren't given dishes to split our apps and food or even given napkins for the table. My food was bland and lackluster. I had ordered a Korean hot bowl. I was really excited for my dish. It had gotten so crispy in the hot bowl that I actually cut my gums on some of the rice at the bottom. It was disappointing. Service sucked one dish came out at least 30 mins before the others when boh should have made it last. Portions were not equal for the same dishes. I will say most of their sushi is on the cheaper side of what I have seen but would most likely not go again. Those who ordered dishes never got out sides dishes that came with our orders. They were in the menu but our server never mentioned them. Completely...

I always order the same take-out order (no wasabi, no ginger, no yum yum sauce), and for whatever reason, it's wrong at least 50% of my orders. I always specify in the notes that I don't want the wasabi or ginger or yum yum sauce. This time, it didn't have those items, but it also didn't have the eel sauce I wanted that comes with it. I know to check my order before leaving because they have gotten it wrong so many times before. I kindly asked for that sauce on it; they took it and added both the eel sauce and the yum yum sauce that I originally specified I didn't want. I waited 15 minutes for them to remake it. When I got it, I stupidly did not check that their third attempt on my order was correct. I got home and realized that they had included the wasabi and ginger that I specified that I didn't want. I hate when rolls have wasabi, ginger, or yum yum sauce, and I hate even more when I have to pay full price to get a roll that is often not exactly what I want. They don't offer any refunds unless you bring back the roll. However, seeing as how I already waited for 15 minutes to have it remade before and drove home, I clearly did not want to drive all the way back and wait another 15 minutes for a dinner that was supposed to be yummy and convenient. Super disappointed in the "customer service" response that is "we'll try again next time" when they have made this mistake many times before. Saw this place in passing & Called told the woman I was outside in the car & wanted to place an order. She looked out the window & than was Very Rude, but I placed my order anyways. After 30min went inside & Same lady was even ruder when she saw me. I thought is it the color of my skin? A few Ppl that came in looked at me like they were shocked that I was even in their👀👁👁So I asked for silverware, Soy sauce because I ordered Chicken fried rice. Which was o.k. but VERY SWEET! Was very disappointed All the rice on the bottle was white. It's like they barely mixed it. Vegetables were over cooked. Sushi was omg No🤢ate like 4 rolls & threw the rest away. I've never thrown away sushi NEVER! It tasted like fresh fish out of the water. I was mad as heck🤬This is the first time I've ever had bad sushi. This meal wasn't cheap.
