So unorganized it took me three months or longer to get everything together in order to take classes..its not simple as community College...where you can take care of everything in a day...when i went to the welcome center..the student aids..send you off to a computer to figure out everything on your own, then the Financial aid people get paid to sit at a desk..all day..and do nothing when you go to them for help, they tell you to go back to the computers and they will send a student aid to help you..so what the hell are you getting paid to do all day...so the financial aid people never help you the student aid do..furthermore..i had to wait two month to get in to..see an Academic advisor...THEY NEED TO PLEASE MAKE THE PROCESS IN Transitioning over from a community college to a University a little...
Read moreWe went to Wayne State for a tour to help my daughter decide on a college. The tour starts at the Welcome Center. Our first impression was quite dismal. The seats were all badly stained and the interior was not welcoming. Thankfully the staff was friendly and helpful. Wayne State, you really need to invest money on making a good first impression.
Update: We went back when it was not busy to talk to a Financial Aid advisor. It was not dismal and the seats we found were clean so I added a star to my original review. Friendly staff. Disappointed to hear they don't "stack" scholarships (ask them about it). Keep improving and I'll keep...

She will usually tell you any answer to your question to dismiss you or make her self feel like she knows what she’s talking about. I almost didn’t go to Wayne state because she told me I was no longer considered a transfer student because I applied at Wayne state.
