We spent $70+tips at this location for three bottom-of-the-line bagels and three coffees on a Saturday morning. The bagels were stale and bitter, the eggs had an extremely rancid smell, the avocado slices were paper thin, and the tomatoes had that dirt flavor. The drinks were very bland and lacked flavor (lavender latte, chai spice) and tasted like a quick at-home pour-over. A huge Saturday morning disappointment for $70!! We kept thinking of all the better restaurants we could have enjoyed instead. We also considered how many cartons of fresh eggs and freshly made bagels we could have purchased and made with top-of-the-line ingredients for such an atrocious cost. One of our groupmates literally needed to vomit after. Unfortunately, the drinks went straight to the trash, and half the bagels too. It is shocking how this place is open and how on EARTH it is ranked four stars. It still stings when we recall how terrible this experience was. Nothing justifies 3 low-quality bagels and terribly made drinks for $70 bucks. A pair of girls at the table behind us had similar frozen experiences and I could tell they were also hesitating to ask for a refund. PLEASE save yourself the money and disappointment and go somewhere else. Biggest rip-off in 30 years of SoCal dining experience. Also, the bathroom reeks of a fishy...
Read moreHorribly rude owners 🤮 Walked in today at 3:27...The owners didn’t even acknowledge me as they were preoccupied with a group of customers who they were chit chatting with. Finally the lady walks up to the cashier and just stares at me blankly - I suppose waiting for me to give my order? No greeting or anything. I order a sandwich and she says she can’t make it because the kitchen closes at 3:30, which at that point it was exactly 3:30. I have been coming here for awhile and have never heard this rule, nor is it posted in the store anywhere. I would have made it before this deadline if they didn’t ignore me when I walked in. To top it all off, as I walk out, the guy is just standing in the doorway chit chatting with the same customers, and I have to wait a good 30 seconds for the customers to ask him to move for me! And on top of that he only moves a smidge - in an era where we are told to stay 6’ apart. It’s hard to support small businesses when they act so...
Read moreOn Saturday, 6/6/25, I placed a take out order through GrubHub. According to the app, my order would have been ready for pick up from 10:25 to 10 10:35 A.M. I entered the restaurant at 10:27, and asked if my order was ready for pick up. One of the employees said that my order was ready and being bagged, then she resumed working on other orders. At 10:40, I walked over to the takeout order and saw my order had been sitting there the entire time.
I eventually got another employee’s attention who gave me my food and noticed the food was cold. I was upset because the food was cold, the first woman who bagged my food didn’t apologize or say anything about it, and I had to prompt the second employee for a solution. I was eventually given a refund for my order, but the horrible customer service was deeply upsetting, given the fact that the food was expensive ($31 for two sandwiches) and I was looking forward to starting off my day with their...
