The food was amazing. My husband and I shared the guacamole and queso with the chips and our meal was chicken fajitas and I ordered Omar Special. It was all very delicious. The food was seasoned, had a lot of flavor, delicious. We also ordered drinks; my husband a sweet tea and I a coke. A previous review complained about the price of drinks but at a gas station soda is $2.50 or more for a 20oz drink. These drinks are $3.50 for a 40oz drink. Worth it. Our bill was something like $47 without a tip. EDIT 13MAR25 UPDATE: My husband and I returned and he again ordered the fajitas and I order the combo #2, which was a pick 2 of taco, tostada, and a tamale...with choice of beef, chicken or shredded beef. I ordered the tamale and tostada with shredded beef. The tamale came out with green sauce on it which made it taste a bit sour but still good but the tostada which was on the same plate, was in a pile if liquid so i couldnt pick it up, but the meat tasted like ash. I don't smoke, but if I cigarette smell had a taste, that is what the meat tasted like. I informed the waitress and asked if I could get the chicken instead. The chicken tostada wasn't any better. It was as though they marinated it in chicken broth and Italian seasoning. The 2nd toastada came out wet along with green peppers and onions but those were marinated with the chicken. I also had to eat it with a fork. This place seems as though they Americanized their food and made it so the white people could eat it. When I go to a Mexican restaurant, I want real authentic Mexican food with heat and spice. I don't want something I could look up on Pinterest, which includes this case, might have...
Read moreOur family was on a 12 day roadtrip across the west and North Dakota was our last stop before heading back to MN. We love Mexican food and on our last night, decoded to go have a nice sit diem dinner after days of precooked meals and sandwiches on the road. This restaurant is a gem. I ordered the chicken flaunts, which are hard to find at restaurants as they are hard to make. I knew as soon as I walked in, this place will be amazing. We probably went through 3 basket of Chios and salsa. It was fresh and tasty. The salsa had a good balance of spice and zest. Both my boys ordered the chicken enchiladas. My youngest kid always says I make the best enchiladas and for him this place was very close to being as good as mom's (I did not pay him to say that either!) My oldest, who can probably eat Mexican food everyday, said the enchiladas were really good. I have to add that I asked for spicy hot sauce. Our server brought me a bowl of their homemade sauce. Omg! It was so tasty and spicy. I could drink it if I could! The beans were well seasoned. The rice were a tad overseasoned. Staff were all super friendly and welcoming. If we ever drive through Dickinson ND again, we will definitely...
Read moreIf you are up here from down south, this is the place for Mexican food. We love the food and the ambiance of the place. The salsa is fantastic! But, and this is my only complaint, they only bring you one to start out! Where we are from, Mexican places would bring you each a little bowl, and check back in a little bit to see if you needed more salsa. They will bring you more than one, just ask. I have local friends and they don’t much care for Los Cabos, “the food (or salsa) is too spicy”. Nothing against the folks from ND, but they don’t know what they’re missing! The food is amazing! My favorite item on the menu is Dos Amigos (chili verde and chili colorado). I’ve also had the tacos al pastor along with lots of other selections. I’ve not had anything that was disappointing or bad. The drinks are pretty good here too. I’m not a big drinker, but when celebrating, sometimes it is appropriate, in my opinion. If you’re driving through or from a little farther south, and want some good Mexican food great hospitality and just can’t decide, go...
