Astoria Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Dickinson

The worst and utter lack of service I have ever seen or experienced. After waiting 15 - 20 mins for a table with wait staff not acknowledging us or giving an indication of wait time, it should have been a sign of things to come. Finally getting a table, staff did not bring menus. After waiting for 25 minutes at table without being acknowledged decided to go to bar to get drinks. Waited at the bar 5-10 minutes where 4 others were being served. Was never acknowledged. Noticed multiple other people coming in after us being served. Those groups were met at the door with fist bumps and hand shakes. Left bar area after it was apparent no wait staff would even make eye contact. Returned to table for 5-10 before leaving. Was clearly ignored while tables adjacent were served. No words were spoken with wait staff or remarks made to make them mad. They simply would not serve us. I highly discourage anyone from going here and highly discourage the use of this place as a venture for any event including business meetings. Poor. Where to start... Menu does not match what is stated online. All they have are sandwiches and burgers. Ordered a burger and mozz sticks. Burger was NOT done. Still red in the middle. Definite not cooked to health standards. Moz sticks were cooked properly but was served with ice cold marinara. Fries had some weird coating on them.

As for service: "Bartender" was polite but inattentive. Spent most of her time talking at one end of the bar with a 'regular'. Doesnt know how to make even basic drinks. Never even heard of an Old Fashioned.

Gaming was supposed to open at 5:00. Gaming staff didn't even show up until 5:10 and as of 5:20 still isnt setup and...

Room service was atrocious..had to ask for them to clean rooms, only a couple channels worked, and to top it off the bar closed at 9pm when it was supposed to stay open until midnight for a wedding we were attending last night. We even called to double check and they said they would stay open. Also told them we were showing up at 10pm..this wedding and details were planned out for weeks. The only reason the whole families stayed at the Astoria was because the bar was supposed to stay open. I hope all of the bad reviews were worth it and the free business.
