TGI Fridays: One of my favorite places to eat, with very friendly staff.
Atmosphere: When you walk into a TGI Fridays it's as if you're stepping into a time machine. Not only do they have photos and objects from different time periods, but this one in specific they have a very solid theme the whole way around. Going to this location frequently I can tell that they have taken pride in the creation of the store because everyone seems comfortable, and understands their surroundings.
Food: The options practically feel endless with how frequently they switch up their specials and creative drinks. But never hesitate to order your favorite dish from a different TGI Fridays location, as they will most likely be able to serve you a wonderful dish. Personally, I practice a Vegan Diet, so I'm stuck with ordering very certain menu items. Whenever I ask for a dish to be made a certain way, they always have confirmed with me to make sure that everything is correct. The Beyond Meat Burger is served here so I'm sure to pick one of them up whenever I'm in the mood for a solid, filling meal. That being said, I've got a handful of friends that do not practice Veganism, and whenever they order the Beyond Meat Cheese Burger they haven't ever been disappointed. (Definitely be sure to try the Beyond Meat Cheeseburger if you're ever in the mood for something filling that's full of flavor) Food Temperature: There's only been a time or two that my food has come out warm, the rest of the time it's been super hot and practically felt like it had just come off of the stove. When food is ordered To-Go the food has also been hot and ready when I picked it up. Not much to complain about other then having two different temperatures on the same plate. Most times the Burger will be hot but the fries are just warm. This has only happened about 3 times out of the last 15 visits.
Rewards: TGI Fridays rewards App for Android and iOS is a MUST HAVE! Not sure if you're like myself at all, but I truly enjoy free food, and this app gives you the key to unlocking just that. No matter if it's your first time at TGI Fridays or your 10th time, you are able to get free Chips and Salsa just by mentioning that you're a rewards member. The rewards are linked to your phone number so that way they are able to give you points to spend on; money off your next purchase, a free Burger, free appetizer, free dessert, and many others. Personally I've used this feature to get a free dinner for my girlfriend and I, and we even had chips and salsa while we waited for our To-Go order to be prepared! Cannot be mad about this. Basically points are accumulated per dollar that you spend on food and drinks while at TGI Fridays, after you accumulate enough, you may choose what you want to spend your hard earned points on. No tiers, or ladders to climb, just eat your meal as you normally would, then after a visit or two pick what you would like for free in the app.
Overall TGI Fridays in Dickson City is a great place if you want to grab a quick bite to eat, or if you want to hang out with the co-workers and have a drink while watching the game. They've got plenty of TV'S, more then enough seating, and plenty of great food and snacking items. Their prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. Be sure to stop by at some point if you've not made it there...
Read moreFirst let me say I would not go to this establishment for years as they put me on hold for 25 minutes (I was ordering take out) prior to this my sons first experience here in 2018 was perfect our server Natalie was the best we have a picture of her sitting with him (he blushed) after that the food quality was horrible shortly after the pandemic when we made a stop in the Philadelphia location. But the thing that gets me to come back is the service, look it doesn't matter if you're waiting on a stock boy and his date, a doctor or a well dressed family, their money is their money and your establishment works for it not the other way around! so if I get poor service you get none of my money period! I didn't come out to eat to get your attitude or your assumptive she has no money piss poor service! And it happens at your establishment as well as others. I work hard for my money and let me say I was delighted when I brought my family to Fridays on Monday in sweats needing a break from the passing of a family member and the stress and grief we were all going through some of us probably needing a shower and Susie treated us with respect joked with us and did her job to the "T" you can't top that girls service skills! She's genuine and had no idea what we were going through she was just her polite hard working self. I appreciate her effort and adore her personality and so should you severs like her are rare and we go out to eat two three times a week so we know. This girl should be the representative for the face of Fridays ! She's amazing kind and funny. Well done Suzie we will be back to see you!...
Read moreFood was excellent and we hardly had to wait for our food ! After this weekends visit 7/26 I chose to update this review. The service was awful. I had ordered the strawberry dirty soda twice both times I politely asked for no whipped cream with sprinkles both times it came out with whipped cream and sprinkles. My server was Jessica. Where we were seated I was facing the bar meaning I was able to observe my drink being made and being remade. I saw all the night shift servers and off the clock manager plus the manager who was on the clock all chatting. Well the manager who was on the clock wearing a shiny orange shirt goes “this isn’t a starbucks” and everyone laughed and the comment. The other girl who was the hostesss and Jessica were talking about how funny it would be to just scoop the whipped cream out with their bare hand and toss it. The off the clock manager who was at the bar being served looked right at me and laughed. This is the most unprofessional situation i’ve ever been put in. All my boyfriend and I wanted was a nice relaxing date. When my boyfriend went off to the bathroom Jessica came over and over explained the situation and tried saying I misheard. Then the off the clock manager came over after my boyfriend returned and said he “would never laugh at someone”. Overall awful definitely won’t be going back on no Saturday nights. All I have to say is i hope no one else has had to feel that way when dining here. Shame on the staff and management. Plus we never use coupons but we had one from the clipper gave it to Jessica at the beginning of our visit and it was never applied...
