Found a reasonably priced Samsung washer and dryer online. Sounds good right? So I try to order it online. As I attempted to check out the shopping cart reverts back to my old address. Thereās a very vague instruction box on how to fix it. So I follow the directions that were given and when I go to check out, yep! It reverts back to my old address. Each time it tells me to delete the items in my cart and start over. After about 4 more attempts to order it throughout the day I finally give up. The next day I went to she store in Dickson City. I ask for a STACKABLE washer and dryer set I found online. The woman takes me over to a desk in kitchens and write up the deal. The. The damn are machine wouldnāt work to after wasting more time figuring that out she prints me a āquoteā to take to the front registers to scan and pay. So I do, but of course there are only self check out registers open and this requires some sort of manager verification so I wait. Eventually the person with the right credentials comes along and swipes a card and I think āfinally! I can get out of hereā Hold on! Now the register freezes again. Iām concerned the delivery did not get scheduled so I wait for yet a different person to come as the first person could not figure out the problem. The second person say hold on and makes a phone call so again I wait: after talking on the phone for several minutes he hangs up the phone and says itās fine. Thereās some glitch in the system with checking out major appliances but all is well. He just has to restart the checkout center. Okay, I figure maybe this is the last of it, still unsure if it went through. Luckily it did. So that brings us to today. The fellas install the washer and then ask where should they put the dryer and I say itās supposed to be stackable. Well thatās when they tell me they donāt have a stacking kit. How would I have known thereās another separate part for this? So they canāt install the dryer today. In addition to which the dryer hose only comes with male fittings and my house requires one of each. So I call Home Depot customer service not once but twice. Bit times I was put on hold for over 30 minutes. So the second time I waited long enough for someone else to pick up so I could tell the whole story over again for the third time. So they say theyāll sent someone out, thatāll be another $50. What!? No, not an option after what youāve put me through on all this. So I hang up the phone; order the parts from Loweās and not Iām finishing the install including putting the dryer up on top of the washer myself: Iāve been selling mattresses and furniture my whole career and if one of my customers ever had an experience like this Iād be embarrassed. Iād give 0 starts but thatās not an option on here. Good...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI bought an entry door here and used the contractor from Home Depot to install it as well. I ordered the door in the beginning of September. It was custom so I expected the few week turn around time. When it went past three weeks with no call or update I had to call Home Depotās millwork dept. that in itself was a nightmare. Scott, who originally helped me, was consistently unavailable. Also, I had multiple instances when I called that I was transferred around and then hung up on. This happened multiple times!! So I finally get someone on the phone to help me. Not scott. Heās still unreachable. This man tells me that the door still isnāt ready. Give it another week. Weāre in October now. I give them 2 weeks. Then I have to call back and inquire again. This time I get a woman in millwork, still no scott. She says āoh yea. We have your door. Weāve had it for a while. Now the install company calls you for the date of install.ā Iām supposed to wait 2 days for the contractor to call me. I wait the two days. No call. So I call the Home Depot again. I speak to a new person. Guess what. Still no scott. Ok. I tell them my situation. They tell me that now I should call to figure out the install date. Iām sorry, I paid you guys to do this project. Over $3000. I would think the customer service here would be phenomenal. I wind up calling the contractor myself. ( getting the number to call from a amanager at Home Depot was another tragic situation. No one has it at first??) The final piece of this is dealing with the install company. The woman I get on the phone tells me they donāt have any open install dates until December 23. Literally 2 months later. Iām furious. But we wait the two months, two days before Christmas. I was told someone would be there between 10-12pm. No confirmation call. Email. Text. Nothing. So I call AGAIN. The woman says ādonāt worry, heāll be there. We donāt do confirmation callsā. Who doesnāt do a confirmation call when you book 2 months out? This is ridiculous. Then guess what? The guy doesnāt show up in the window. Iām calling again. And basically the woman says āoops. Actually heāll be there by 230pmā. Iām ready to scream at this point. Finally Joel shows up. The door itself is beautiful. And Joel did a fabulous job with the install. Only Reason for Any...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had issues with orders here one online and one I made in the store as well as an employee miscommunicating information, however Michelle was kind and ready to resolve my issue fast, I appreciate her demeanor and she did more than necessary to make amends, and she probably saved home depot from losing two customers. So glad be that woman a paid vacation day and a raise, cause I was not coming back before she resolved the situation. Well update: I ordered an appliance from this location, they came and refused to remove the doors on it to move it in after they were assured they could, the mover was overly smug and rude, they had another team set up to deliver (they never showed up) and then a third time again the team proclaimed the doors couldn't come off mind you the issue was fully discussed before I agreed to have a third team try to deliver the same appliance, finally I changed the item for a smaller one and they came early with the wrong appliance finally when they delivered the right one they very roughly flipped my appliance on its back on the the black top (the street) and removed some parts, then put my doors on the street the inside of the doors facing down against the street, (gross) and when they finally moved it in the man kicked my drawers in with his dirty boots.!! Home depot's delivery team is disgusting! And I tried to contact "Guy" who claimed to be a manager at the dickson city pa location to express the complete lack of respect for the appliance they moved in for me he was on vacation, not working or unavailable. Strange?! This place and it's third party delivery company most definitely have issues maintaining professionalism and I will never shop...
