Just Love Coffee Cafe - Dickson, TN — Restaurant in Dickson

I normally don’t write reviews, but this service & coffee was that bad. First Impression was when I pulled up to the screen to place an order the woman very rudely said I had to wait because she was busy doing something else. My gut said to drive off then, but I really wanted to try this place to see if they had good coffee. Second Impression was when she came back to take my order she rudely said “I’ll try to hear what you want over your truck“. I ordered a simple cappuccino. I pulled up to the window and because I was in a truck I could very clearly see their espresso machine, their countertop and what she was doing. She poured whole milk into a small container, went to the espresso machine and frothed it heavily. She then poured coffee from a pitcher into the cup poured the hot milk on top followed by a lot of foam then she put on the lid and handed it to me. She did not pull one shot for my drink! Just over 1/2 the cup was foam. I was a bit horrified. Let me just say drip coffee with milk and foam on top does not a cappuccino make! To top it off it tasted very weak, there wasn’t enough flavor of coffee to determine anything about the beans or roast. I did not go inside so I have no comment on that. I think a one star for the cappuccino and a one star for the miserable service that I received is generous. Hopefully the owner can retrain their staff so future customers do not experience the same thing I did. If you were looking for basic drip coffee, you probably would be better off to go to The local gas station because it’ll probably be better and it will be much cheaper. Oh my. This is my 2nd and last visit. The food is just ok. (Had breakfast) the cheese grits were cold for both myself and my mom’s breakfast. The 2 girls wearing red shirts, were too focused on personal business rather than their job duties and customer service. Apparently one of the employees mothers were there eating so they kept going over to her, laughing, being loud and acting as if they were all at home having a get together. It felt like the customers were interrupting their family gathering. Also these same two girls kept going outside to smoke . THE WORST THING was when one of the girls in the red shirt spilled fluid from one of the drink machines all over the floor because the lever got stuck she just left it (to go smoke and hang out with her coworkers family). When she finally walked back to the spill she put a rag on the floor, stepped on it with her shoe, wiped it up smearing it all over the floor, then bent down picked up the rag and WIPED THE CABINET AND THE COUNTER TOP!!!!! So gross!!!!!! I’ll never come back. It’s obvious these employees are not focused on doing their jobs and using common sense ! Which is obviously not so common. Oh the irony! Just love?? We had a very uncomfortable and just sad experience. The gentleman that was trying to take our order was looking for help when he couldn’t find the item on the computer. He patiently waited for his teammate to finish taking orders at the drive thru. Once the question was asked to the other employee she yelled at the man from across the store instead of walking over there and truly helping him. While we waited for our drinks and food she proceeded to yell at the man several more times. It really hurt my heart to see her be so kind to all the customers in the drive thru but not share the same kindness to her staff member. She gave the man a task and as soon as the man walked away to do the task she started talking terribly about how the man did this, that, and the other with another coworker in front of us. It really was uncomfortable and we decided to leave. To have “Just Love” in your company’s name but not provide the love atmosphere is very sad and I really hope that the way employees are treated is greatly improved because everyone needs love regardless of...
