Following my initial post, I experienced a positive resolution with Area 51 Tech Solution regarding the pricing of the services provided on my custom gaming PC. Impressively, the company proactively reached out to offer a refund without my prompting.
This gesture demonstrated a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and reinforced their integrity. It was a clear indication that they value their clients and are willing to make things right.
While the troubleshooting process took longer than expected, their team's dedication to resolving the issue with my defective CPU was evident, and the system is now performing well.
This experience has given me confidence in Area 51 Tech Solution's professionalism and customer-centric approach. As always, I recommend discussing service expectations and pricing upfront with any service provider to ensure a smooth experience.
I recently brought my custom gaming PC to Area 51 Tech Solution to address a Blue Screen issue. I'd like to share my personal experience.
The service cost amounted to $800 for the 8 hours of work completed. It was explained to me that their rate could extend to a higher charge, with a possibility of 24 hours billed at undisclosed amount for sitting on the bench but they were giving me a “deal”. It was beyond what I initially expected for the diagnosed issues.
The technicians initially identified and corrected a loose CPU cooler and some loose motherboard screws. They determined that the CPU was the source of the problem. The technicians conducted thorough testing on the RAM, GPU, and CPU, eventually identifying the defective CPU. The process involved stress testing, system adjustments and installation of steam, which understandably took time.
They also updated the motherboard BIOS and system drivers, installed monitoring tools, and ran benchmarks. These were part of the “service package”, although some steps might have been more extensive than anticipated.
While the issue was accurately diagnosed as a defective CPU, the resolution process felt longer than I personally anticipated.

Read morePaid over 450 dollars for an iPad 2018 generation screen fixture for the LCD screen to crack Inside after 2 days of pickup. There is no cracks on the outside screen and the devices was immediately put in a case like told. I contacted them with the issue to which I was told basically they don’t cover my issue, and the guy that made the warranty agreement had quit…oh and someone passed away so who cares about my problem…after I repeatedly asked one of their reps what kind of warranty for such a huge purchase for a fixture. I was initially quoted 277 and then when I came for pickup that was oh 4 weeks to fix it was over 400 dollars smh!! The device wasn’t dropped the inside of the repair must have been too weak and once pressed on broke. I’ve never seen an iPad crack on the inside and not the outside this was clearly not user error.. im so disappointed!!!
Funny how you seem to have a half page rebuttal to a disappointed consumer whom when called..you had absolutely no knowledge of the fixture! Seems you were “waiting for my review” to be just as I described. As a consumer if the product was damaged and your repair wouldn’t be sufficient enough to stand, you as the owner should have declined the repair as it would have caused a customer to lose out on a hefty fee. Now you have several of your friends calling you a good guy and you are so awesome…maybe you are, but non the less your business is disappointing. I was NOT informed of a weak spot that would cause me a terrible loss of funds..that sir is a big fat Lie…I wish your business well but as a consumer it’s my duty to express my experience with a small business and mine was garbage..I hope everyone beware of his nasty rebuttal and lack of compassion for being paid without providing anything less than...
Read moreI had been having some chronic issues with the dreaded memory management BSOD. It had been happening for so long that I was convinced no one could fix it and I was doomed to save up and try building another PC. I found Area 51 after a quick google search and Jason and Jacob came to my rescue! This PC was meticulously and thoroughly checked out to identify any issues which I really appreciated and Jacob was great about contacting me regularly to give me updates. Since this was an intermittent issue, it was hard to diagnose and troubleshoot - and I did end up having the issue when I got the PC back with me at first. However, Jacob was kind enough to make a house call and help with any lingering issues and I am now happy to say it is 100% fixed. I am a huge fan of these guys and will absolutely be back if I have any other tech needs. If you want to take your electronics to folks who really care - these are your dudes! Wish I could give more stars for such...
