Wendy's — Restaurant in Dickson

I have been to this Wendy's two times. Three stars is the max I give for a fast food restaurant. The first time I went there they were not very busy at all. But, there were a lot of people waiting for food. One guy told me that, "this would be a great place to sell a hamburger." That was not a good sign. After he finally left I went to buy some ice from the pilot and a couple of other skee dunks. I returned to the Wendys line and kept waiting. I almost told the guy beside me that, "this would be a great place to sell a hamburger." But, I did not. The make staff yelled a lot. The order staff was confused about what was available and how a customer might get it. The make staff yelled so that every customer could hear that, "we are out of bacon, don't take any more bacon orders, is that bacon, don't take any more bacon, tell everybody we are out of bacon, is that bacon, do you have some bacon, there aint no bacon." Or something to that effect. 2 stars. I went back a few days later, very slow. The food tasted good but you have to be faster. One star. And, get a new manager. You have serious...

While I am all for management trying to make employees better. I am not a fan of chastising and embarrassing them in front of customers or others. Did the young lady's body language indicate an attitude or being upset. Sure. However the proper way to have handled this would have been to move customers on out of the line. When you have a break have a one on one meeting with the employee. Explain their body language portrayed an attitude. I am not a soft person nor do I believe you should not address issues. However there is a proper way. Talk to them and not at them again away from customers. If I hadn't already ordered, I would have walked away. The poor girl was in tears. That is not acceptable from a customers point of view.

Being a night shift worker, I used to stop by here on my way home when I didn't have enough time to eat at work. I was surprised to see the renovations they made to the drive through and thought this would definitely improve things. Nope. If it's night time, don't bother trying to use the drive through, EVER. They constantly put a concrete block in front of the entrance to their drive-thru making it impossible for anyone who needs to swing by quickly to pick up food and head home. Not sure if the drive-thru is open during the day but I wouldn't even bother trying if I were you. I haven't been able to get anything through the drive-thru at night since last year, and they have renovated in that time. Why would you spend all that money to improve a section you're never...
