HORRIBLE! I tried to call the restaurant on Tuesday Feb 20 to reserve a table for 3 on Wednesday February 21. The phone kept ringing and no one answered. I kept trying and trying and then I went to their website and submitted an online reservation form for a table of 3. I received an email that my booking is "pending confirmation" and I will receive another email confirming the reservation. I never received the confirmation email. I arrived at the restaurant on Wednesday Feb 21 early at 5:30pm with a birthday cake to celebrate a friend's birthday. I walked in and the restaurant was almost empty. Just one couple was eating. There was no one at the front desk. Then 2 male staffers appeared. One was tall and slim and the other was short and round and he wore light makeup on his face and all along had this very strange, eerie and unsettling fake smile. I politely told them what had happened. The tall guy immediately apologized to me and he was super nice and polite. I told them no one was answering the phone since the day before. The tall one immediately checked the phone. In their presence, I called the listed number and their phone did not ring. The tall guy discovered (in front of the short fat guy) that the phone tone volume was lowered and muted. After they raised the volume, the phone started ringing. I repeatedly told them that I am not criticizing them or upset but in fact I am trying to help the restaurant fix the problem by simply identifying it for them so they don't miss calls from other customers. The Tall guy was very appreciative BUT the short fat man with facial makeup kept arguing with me that HE was there all the time and calls were coming in and there was nothing wrong with the phone and that I wrong. Then how come the phone did not ring when I called standing in front of them?. Hmmm.... Then the short fat man with the fake smile and makeup on his face started arguing with me saying that he received my reservation and he sent the confirmation and it was not their system but in fact it was MY phone which did not receive his notification. His tone of voice was rude and he was ridiculously stubborn and mullish about his version. I asked him how was the notification sent to me, he said he does not know but it was sent and that it is not his problem that I did not get it. His tone and attitude was UNBELIEVABLE. Initially I ignored his nasty and stubborn attitude. The tall guy tried to intervene but the short guy whispered something to him privately and immediately the tall guy moved away from us and started looking the other way. Clearly the shortie told him to back away. Then he turned to me and continued to UNNECESSARILY argue with me. I am thinking "Man, let it go and leave me alone". By now I was upset, offended and also embarrassed by this man's offensive behavior towards me. Then suddenly he rudely says to me "SIR, DO YOU WANT A TABLE OR NOT????". I was shocked beyond belief. I bet the entire incident is on camera if the place has any cameras. I could not believe my ears. I told him I don't want to eat there and walked away. As I walked away, the nice and polite tall guy says to me... "I am very sorry, Sir!". He looked at me so apologetically because he saw everything and he knows what happened. I told him that his colleague (the nasty short fat man with a nasty smile and facial makeup) is extremely rude and he should not be working there. Hearing my voice the short fat guy came running after me outside the restaurant and lashed out at me in a threatening manner. I lashed out at him too. We had an exchange of colorful words. He appeared to curse me in Spanish. He says "what are you going to do about it, eh? I told him I am leaving and I will write a review. He tells me dismissively "Whatever! Go ahead, do it!". Read moreHad dinner here for the second time. We ate here about 3 years ago. We met our brother for dinner because he had just arrived today. We decided on la terraza. From the beginning we noticed the waiter wasn’t friendly but we brushed it off. Second we ordered our food. We ordered at about 7 pm. Our food did not arrive till about 8:15. Now because of COVID I’m definitely sympathetic. But when you don’t have one person that comes and checks on you or advises you kitchen is backed up. I personally get very annoyed. I’m all about customer service and that I was not given today. There was no customer service today. While we waited for our food we weren’t even offered refills. When my husband asked the waiter for a time left on food he walked away with no response and went into kitchen never to Return. 15 min later we asked another servicer about our food and she came back with its being plated which we then waited 15 more minutes. Even when I asked for manager she came out so I could chat with her and I wasn’t even given a sincere apology from her. I was given the excuse of being understaffed. Let me add that we ordered the 35.00 ribeye med rare and that came out rare. At this point my children had it and wanted to leave. Meanwhile a party of 6 across my table Asked for the manager and was denied to speak to him that they left. With no food in there belly’s! It was 8:15! During pandemic everything closes early so god knows of these people will be going to bed hungry. But I guess I’m the only one that cares. It saddens me that during these times you have a business that truly could care less about your business. And I quote from the waiter! “Let them go! Que eso lo paga el Diablo!” Referring to the drinks. End quote from the exact same waiter that was assigned to our table. Read moreDO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! WORST SERVICE! Average drink and appetizer! I made a reservation for my family of 3 and advised we were celebrating my son's 11th birthday. They acknowledged they saw this on my reservation at the time I walked up to the bar, 5 minutes after standing unacknowledged, to ask how to check in for a reservation and they pointed at the empty host stand. They took 10 minutes to "seat, "us which consisted of being told to go upstairs with the only direction being "Tell them you have a reservation if they question you." Upon our arrival upstairs no one greeted us and we wandered awkwardly until we asked a server who told us our table was in the direction of where she pointed. The only empty table was dirty and even after my husband got napkins from the bar and started cleaning the table no one came. We then flagged assistance to clean the table as we did not carry our own cleaning solution to dinner with us. The table we sat at was so wobbly that my son's drink spilled into the fried appetizers that arrived 30 minutes later. No one came to help, despite 3 servers and a bartender witnessing it, and when we flagged down a server for assistance she said she'd be back, cleaned off two other tables, checked her phone at the bar, chatted with another server and finally returned to tell us to move to another table in the direction she pointed.
