Vagón Dorado — Restaurant in Dorado

So me and my partner went here tonight 12/12/2024 and it was decentently busy. The waitress was nice and brought our menus and our drink order. I got a coke and he got a strawberry frozen margaritas. Then we ordered empanades one ground beef and one carnites.. we got both carnitas and when I told her she looked surprised and said she can get me a new one. I told her no I will eat this, then topnotcher waitress brought our drinks and she came with my cock and a regular margarita. She said they have no flavored ones. Then asked if we wanted food. We said the other waitress got our order. Then our food came out and it was really tasty I got the surf and turf tacos and he got the biggest nachos they had. I mean the food was good for sure, then they brought the bill. I mean didn't get the margarita we ordered and they messed up the appetizer empanada and did not change the bill at all. $48 is what it cost for nachos, tacos and two empanadas.. and a margaritas he drank like 1/3 of. Honestly expected the drink to be taken off and one of the empanadas to be free as well. So it was a sad experience and I own a house in Ponce but was in Dorado on vacation for a couple of days.

Grabbed some delicious to-go mmmmmpanadillas (carne y pollo) as well as the baja fish tacos, which were all absolutely amazing and I was so happy with!! So much flavor and an amazing price for what you get, which is very refreshing!

As for the service, I can see why some reviews have been a little harsh (though some seem extreme to me), as the style here is much more casual and there isn't a strict/clear entrance with a host or anything. Sometimes they see you and seat you, other times they find you at your table that you've already seated yourself at - and if you're getting to-go, like I initially did, then it's not even clear if you can get it to go - but one can easily assume and can certainly ask any of the servers. The truck is very clearly a food truck style that portrays delicious, mobile comida croilla and the outdoor seating implies that this casual restaurant is all about the taste and quality, not the presence and romantic/ perfect server vibe! Cannot wait...

Normally one of my favorite places to eat, however, on this particular occasion I got to the restaurant, walked up to one of the the male waiters to ask him if they were taking orders at the front. He told me I could have a seat. ( He did not greet me with a good afternoon, offered a menu, water, etc... ) It felt really disrespectful to notice that various other customers were given this service, so eventually I got up and left to the restaurant two doors down ( Pirilos ) where I know this would never happen.

I know they are a busy establishment, but that kind of treatment is unnaceptable even at a low-budget fast food. I hope they have a workshop on customer service and...
