Cevichinos LLC — Restaurant in Doral

My wife and I live have lived near by for years and have never walked into this place before, primarily because we're accustomed to eating in somewhat higher-end establishments but on one tired evening we decided to just stop in after playing lottery at the 7 Eleven next door (yea, that's the kind of location that I'm taking about) but to our amazement the food was actually really great! I'm tired of the same ole choices in my neighborhood, Mostly Venezuelan or Peruvian restaurants and so walking into another Peruvian restaurant around here was a bit of a drag already and I was entering with a negative disposition about my choice of diner for the evening judging it the second that I stepped in. Not sure what I expected but this place was really clean looking, quiet and pleasant. The service was great, very attentive, and when the food hit the table it was instantly appealing to the eyes with a very tasteful aroma. Without going into great detail the food was more than I could ever have expected from the looks and location of the venue. I've been back a few times just because of how good the food was. I definitely Recommend it. Just don't expect a fancy looking place. I give it 4 out of 5 only because of the location and low end appearance. But just on Food I wold...

The food here was absolutely delicious! We had three different plates, including the mixed ceviche and I will most definitely come again. The ONLY reason this place gets 4 stars is the service, which was beyond awful. We had to ask 4 times for water, then we asked for a refill, but the waitress wasn’t paying attention, so after almost 10 minutes waiting, we just got up and took the water jug to pour ourselves water. She didn’t even notice that. I had to almost scream to get the waitress’s attention and we were seated in the middle of a restaurant, that has, maybe, 10 tables. There were only 2 or 3 other tables with customers, yet we were still ignored tremendously. Tip is included and that’s all she received, because I would only tip the people in he kitchen who truly make the magic happen. The Quality of the food is good, but I ordered from the menu : "Ceviche Mixto Grande :$23.00" and the waitress asked me "with what type of fish: Corvina, Grouper or swai?" I said Corvina. minutes later, she bring a Ceviche with only fish, I said, I ordered Ceviche Mixto, Ah ok, let me add the shrimps. The Plate was very good, but when the waitress bring the check on the check appear: Ceviche de Corvina :$35.00 + Shrimps Extra :$6.00 , Total : $41.00 !!!!!

I claimed, I ordered Ceviche Mixto of $23.00. and now I need to pay $41.00 ??????

The answer from the waitress was Yes, You need to pay $41.00 because its the way that appear on her computer

Conclusion: Was the first time and the last time in this place.
