Miu's Tea — Restaurant in Doral

Visited with our 2 well behaved children under age 11. Staff was unaccommodating. It's disappointing that they don't have any kid friendly options except for 4-5 caffeine free teas in large size ONLY and a lavender lemonade. When asked if we could get a milk tea with no tea we were told no exceptions will be made to exclude tea from the drinks "because the owner has strict instructions as this is a tea shop not a boba shop". We will be unlikely to visit again even for the adults as it is frustrating to not be able to get drinks for ourselves and our tween daughters at the same shop. Even Starbucks who doesn't cater to kids has more kid friendly caffeine-free options and is willing to make accommodations. Might as well put a sign on the door that indicates children are not welcomed. Otherwise, the caffeinated options iced tea latte and iced matcha lattes tasted great. The large caffeine free iced teas the kids ordered will be tossed because they couldn't finish it all. If you find yourself here with kids try the pink tropical with strawberry popping boba, it was the only option...

We visited the Doral Mius Tea location last night. While the store was empty, the cashier who happened to be a male, in his 30s. He greeted us with a serious face, and had an unpleasant interaction regarding the door. He spoke in a curt tone and went to the back, made negative comments within earshot. He's very unpleasant to my mom when he took her orders. This made us feel unwelcome, which is a stark contrast to our usual positive experience at other Mius Tea branches. At Mius Tea, your drink is one of the best, but we recommend more costumer service training focused on friendly communication to ensure a welcoming environment...

The boba here is delicious but the staff is very unprofessional. You walk in here & stand at the counter and the worker doesn’t even say hello and takes their sweet time making other drinks. I stood waiting in line for 10 minutes to order and there was not even anyone else in line. I was just being ignored. Most of the people that work here have no customer service skills or people skills. Whoever is in charge of the hiring and recruiting process for this location is doing a horrible job.
