Pollo Tropical — Restaurant in Doral

I have been reading in the news about poor working conditions at fast food chains, but experienced it first hand at this Pollo Tropical in Sweetwater. I placed our order on-line at 11:15AM for a 12noon pick-up. I arrived at noon, but no orders were on the "Mobile" pick-up rack. So I waited at the counter. I was the only customer there. The few employees were frantically trying to prepare orders for the very long line of cars at the drive-thru. I waited patiently for 10 minutes, then decided to ask if anyone was preparing on-line orders. All the employees ignored me. A family walked in to place an order, and one of the employees yelled "Drive thru orders only!!" So I asked, "What about on-line orders?" And they ignored me again. Since I had already paid, I figured I better be patient. At 12:20, I asked an employee if she even had my order. She replied, frustratingly, "Solomente tienes dos manos." I agreed as I can see she only has two hands, and if she didn't have my order, can she please credit my card and I will leave them alone. She suddenly began to put my order together. I finally left at 12:30 with my order. The meal was very good and my family enjoyed it all. I ordered from the Sweetwater Pollo Tropical because it is close to an elderly relative's house that we were visiting and wanted eat with her. The Pollo Tropical in Pincecrest is much better staffed...

Very rude drive thru person. Short girl with an attitude. I don't want the manager to blame the wrong person so I'm going to specify who it is. I just passed by today March 16th, 2023 at 3:45pm EST. Look her up in your shift schedule. Very rude. It's not the first or second time. At first i thought it's just her job that stresses her but today she was downright rude and disrespectful because she handed me the food and walked away. I stayed at the window because i was gonna ask her for a two forks. She didn't provide one to begin with and I needed two because it was a half chicken meal for my mother and I. She mocked me for asking saying "it's incredible! He holding up my drive thru line for two stupid forks!" That made me so uncomfortable and unwelcome i told her of it made her feel better to charge me for them. So embarrassing. And me showing my mom the Pollo Tropical that's closest to my house and the one my friends and i always go to and order from. I live down the street 5 minutes away. But not anymore. I won't go there ever again. She better be careful how she treats people. Im just leaving a review for the manager. But other customers might teach her a lesson outside. Or worse. Imagine a customer decides to harm the entire staff because of her bad attitude. Shes endangering that business. I'll pray for her and all those who work with her. Crazy...

THIS IS THE WORST POLLO TROPICAL I HAVE BEEN TO. This place failed in: Not acknowledging To-Go orders that customers online. Specifically, they completely ignored the online order which was already paid for. Providing the food already paid for. This place provided less than what it was paid for (this is called stealing). We paid for a large Fried Yuca and we were given a small Yuca Bites which contained 5 yucas. After waiting 30 minutes after (45 minutes after the order was placed) the given time online, they were going to warm up the oil to make the fried yuca. We told them to given us what they had already cooked. They provided the small Yuca Bites because (salia mas dinero) which is completely none of our business. Do not care about the clients. My mother in numerous time explained to the food attendant they my daughter was hungry and waiting for the food. The fast food workers made her wait. And again, not provided the right food for the amount money paid for.
