The food and service was slightly above average. I would rate it more of 3.5 instead of 4 stars. I came for dinner on a Saturday night. The restaurant had people in it but it wasn’t so busy that it was uncomfortable. Since it was the weekend the meal was $43.95 per person.

When we were showed to our table we waited for the service staff. She asked if it was our first time. I let her know it might as well be because the last time we were here was years ago. She explained the concept and showed where the cold bar and the window is. The window is where you get your meats. She explained our drinks option. The meal included either wine, beer or soda. I believe the wine is a bottle and beer is two glasses. That’s all she explained. She never explained that there are hot sides you can order which I think it’s mashed potatoes, fries and congri. I’ll talk about this a little later. She never mentioned that desert was also included.

The cold bar has some variety but you will need to guess what some of it is because not everything is labeled. Some of it self explanatory but some of it isn’t. They definitely need to change the location of their croutons. I saw small children putting their hands in it. I stayed clear of them. There was also a soup but what it was I have no idea because it wasn’t labeled.

The window is where the majority of people go to because that’s where everything is. I’m going to say that try and get to this window where there are minimal people. 1-2 max. If there is a line just wait until it dies down. This makes a difference. When I went up there and there was basically no one there they took their time and make sure they got the temperature right and it was actually hot.

When there was a line the meat was lukewarm and the temperature of your meat may not be correct. I ordered medium and the meat was rare to medium rare. They rush to clear out the line.

The different options they have is also a little unknown. There’s a tv that tells you but unless you are watching it it’s a little bit of a mystery. Everyone grabs red meat but I know there were several other options but like I said nothing that tells you what everything is. I normally don’t actively go to Argentinian steakhouses so I’m counting on the place I’m going to tell me.

There is also an option where you can order the meats from your table and it’s brought to you. I think they should go to this exclusively. Maybe an ordering system with an iPad. The reason I say this is because by the time we were on our 2-3 plate the waitress came and said something about wanting sides. I didn’t even know there were sides. Why can’t it automatically come to the table. Just a small serving of everything and then order more as you need more. There was another waitress in the same area and she interacted more with her guests and made suggestions. I was slightly envious I’m not going to lie. She would bring them sides and meats she would recommend and I felt left out. Our waitress informed us of the sides so late and then she said it so fast I didn’t catch all of it. So if there were anymore sides then what I mentioned again I wouldn’t know.

Would I recommend this restaurant? Yes but only if you get the correct serving staff.

My recommendations for this restaurant are to please have something on the table that includes what your options are. Your options for meats and sides and please label everything. I know an iPad ordering system is an investment but I think it’ll be a good one and that way there is...

This has been the worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant and worst food ever I had to go straight to the bathroom as soon as their food entered my stomach. I was invited by my boyfriend for dinner. We got there around 6:10 and it was practically empty. We sat on a booth and when to get our food. The first red flag is that there was not plate yet the restaurant was practically empty. The cooks that serve you the meat with no enthusiasm or energy at all. We sit in the table and ask for drinks the sprite was watery it did not taste like sprite at all and my boyfriend ordered Pepsi was given Diet Pepsi. The restaurant offers with the buffet price the bread with butter. We saw another table get bread and we found out it was included with the price so we had to ask the waitress since it was never offered or put on the table. The buffet price comes with sides included and was never offered as well so we ate with out any sides . We found out about this when we left and checked on the website and asked a worker before leaving. The meat whether it was steak or chicken was not good quality at all. The steak you would have to chew it a lot like if it was gum of who stick and bad it was. The chicken was cold and nothing out of the ordinary. We got desert which was included as well and was insignificant. I ordered a dulce de leche crepe and it was cold which I did not under tang and it was only one. My boyfriend ordered an ice cream ball with like a cake he order vanilla ice creams and when about 10 minutes later they come and met us know they don’t have vanilla only strawberry dulce leche and another one. So he decided to get the strawberry one and it did not taste like strawberry at all. I tried it myself and it was sour as if it was old. Never have I ever been to a restaurant or buffet with this type of food and attention quality. Even a Chinese buffet is way better that this restaurant they call them self. They more paying attention more to the big reservations that were coming. It was my first time coming here and it would be my last. For the price and the food quality and attention it is not worth any penny. For 2 it was a total of $86 and some cents on a Monday at 6. Very very ridiculous worst experience me and worst food out there. I never write reviews of the places I go to but this one was so so bad that I had to leave a review. Please save your money and time and DO NOT go...

On August 29, 2021 we went to visit this place, and we are not planning to come back there, unless a full restauration, and a reset of the services and food offer be done. I have to say that this place has been on decline for a long period of time I cannot remember. Since its re-opening after the Pandemic season, the salad station is not even including the 60% of the options they used to offer, and the grill has also been affected by the rise of meat's prices, something although understandable, unfair for the customers that have to paid the same price, for a now "poor" service. So, in light of this events and in order to keep quality and profitability for both: corporation & clients, new strategies should arise. However, it's not happening and unfortunately, the decadency of this specific location at Doral, is as relevant as imminent. Honestly, this place should close for a while, so the owners, management and executives would be able to finish remodeling and try to rescue "the restaurant" this place used to be. My husband, my daughter and I were assigned to a table that was completely full/surrounded by flies. We did not abandon the place immediately as we were hungry and requested a change of table, but the hot due to the lack of air conditioning was intolerable. When we ask for the manager, "Ericka" came to us and while we explained the situation, her bad attitude was not only unexpected, but a surprise to us; we know her for a long time and have spoken to her in other occasions regarding the bad conditions and terrible status of the restaurant, with all due respect, as we have been customers for so long and wanted to keep going, but as I said, I don't think we come back again under this conditions. I'm giving my star to Donatello, who has been our loyal and outstanding server during the times we have visited this place. He was very embarrassed that night of August 29, and said good bye to us knowing, that we won't come back again. By the way, after that bad experience and leaving the place, we went to The Knife of the Bayside, where it is a pleasure to eat and managers are highly professionals and friendly. I recall their names: Jose & Sandra. We have to drive more miles, but...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Knife located in Miami International Mall, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance of the restaurant is inviting and comfortable, creating the perfect atmosphere for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. One of the highlights of our visit was the impeccable service we received. Marita, our waiter, was particularly outstanding. She was not only polite and friendly but also extremely attentive, ensuring that our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. Her knowledge of the menu and her genuine enthusiasm added a personal touch that made our meal even more memorable. The quality of the food at The Knife is superb. The meats were cooked to perfection, offering a variety of flavors and textures that satisfied every palate at our table. The assorted salad bar was equally impressive, featuring a wide array of fresh and delicious options that complemented the main courses beautifully. Overall, our visit to The Knife was fantastic. The combination of excellent service, especially from Marita, a pleasant atmosphere, and high-quality food makes this restaurant a standout choice. We look forward to returning soon and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great dining experience in Miami International Mall.
