Yesterday, my daughter and I decided to treat ourselves to some delicious rolled ice cream at Iceny Rolled Ice Cream on Buford Highway, and it did not disappoint!
We tried the Build Your Own and the Arroz con Leche rolled ice cream, and both were absolutely fantastic. The Arroz con Leche flavor was a delightful surprise! It featured a creamy coconut milk ice cream base mixed with warm Thai sticky rice, topped with graham cracker crumbs, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and a drizzle of condensed milk. The combination was both comforting and indulgent, with just the right amount of sweetness and texture.
For the Build Your Own, my daughter chose a basic cream base with Fruity Pebbles, sprinkles, and a generous topping of whipped cream. It was colorful, fun, and absolutely delicious! The ice cream itself was incredibly smooth and creamy, thanks to Iceny’s unique freezing technique that balances the ice crystals and air perfectly.
A special shoutout to the young lady who made our ice cream. She was not only talented in crafting these beautiful desserts but also incredibly delightful and welcoming. Her positive energy made our experience even more enjoyable.
If you're looking for a fun and tasty treat, I highly recommend visiting Iceny Rolled Ice Cream. Whether you’re creating your own masterpiece or enjoying one of their signature flavors, you’re in for a sweet and satisfying experience!

Read moreICENY has quickly become my favorite go-to for dessert treats. When the location first opened, I remember only going a handful of times. Lately, it seems like I stop by more than I probably should. It's located in a bustling part of Buford and can easily be overshadowed by other places in the area. But if you do happen to need a reason to be in that area. There's a good eats spot 'Bobo garden' and 'LanZhou Ramen' within the same plaza. Then afterwards, stop by ICENY for dessert!
My favorite is the Mango Sticky Rice Roll. I've tried to make it myself, buy from the store, and other alternatives, but can't quite come close to the way they make it here. The sticky rice is my favorite part, topped with condensed milk makes it an excellent treat any time of day. There's many other good choices to choose from, and that makes it all the more fun to come back again.
The staff is always nice, no matter what anyone says. It can get busy, especially when they sometimes have to make 2 - 4 different things for the customer that came before you, and then take your order. It's not the easiest or quickest dessert to make, so please be patient with them. Also, there is a staff shortage and often times I see only one person working in the store. Rarely, do I see two or even the more rare three people. So be kind, be patient, and tip!
I can definitely recommend ICENY to anyone stopping by the area. If even only for that one dessert which is my favorite the Mango Sticky Rice. It's that good and...
Read moreStopped by a couple times and tried their Mango Sticky Rice which made me visit in the first place, their Rose Lychee and most recently my FAVVVV Supreme Berry! I've been to ice cream places all over Atlanta like Jenny's but nothing has topped this one right here, it's made w/ real berries that you can legit see in their rolled ice cream as you eat (if you were too busy to watch them chop it up right in front of you as they make it which is honestly really cool) and it's topped off with raspberries, blueberries and a bunch of of strawberry slices which I have yet to see in any atlanta ice cream shop that I've visited so far. There's a lot to choose from the menu but if you stop by please order this at least once!! New go-to spot and the cost is well worth it, if not underpriced as it is lol like fr I've never seen anyone use real raspberries as an ice cream topping. Real clean too, thought it'd be sticky everywhere but nope so overall 5/5, great for dates :) me and mine had a...
