STAY AWAY!!!! Stopped by here for breakfast on our way back from Florida headed back to Atlanta. Ordered 2 chicken mini meals to go. Hopped in the van and hit the road. My wife and I shared and my son had his own meal. He ate one mini decided he was good and went back to sleep. Wife and I tore through the 10 piece mini. By the time we got back home we were sick. We spent the next several hours in the Emergency room getting IVās, puking our brains out of both ends! Worst food poisoning Iāve ever had. We were scheduled to fly to Colorado for our family ski trip the following morning. We didnāt leave the hospital until around 4 in the morning. Needless to say we had to pay out the yin yang to get flights rescheduled, get hotels rescheduled. My wife called the location and spoke to the owner. He was clearly not about customer service. Told us heād have to go through his insurance company. Told usher was gonna refund our meals. Never received any refund of the meal. Their insurance company Sedgwick was horrible to deal with. Just wanted to send emails instead of speaking on the phone. Our emails and voicemails went weeks without reply. Then they had the audacity to deny our claim because they said we didnāt get a stool sample while we were at the hospital. No hospital is taking a stool sample when youāre pissing out of your bung! Tonight, I ordered an 8-piece grilled nugget meal for my teenager, assuming the nuggets would be of standard size. However, upon opening the container, my daughter remarked that there seemed to be very little inside. I approached the counter and spoke with Erin, a staff member. I politely asked if the order appeared correct, to which she confirmed it was. I then requested a refund and expressed my interest in ordering a different, more substantial chicken meal instead. Unfortunately, Erin declined my request, stating that the order was correct and thus would not process a return.
I left feeling disheartened by the interaction, questioning why a simple return couldn't have been accommodated, possibly with manager approval. Attached are photos illustrating that several of the eight pieces were less than an inch long, which I find concerning given the cost of $9.55 for what amounted to approximately 2-3 ounces of chicken.
In situations like this, prioritizing customer satisfaction and handling concerns with empathy and flexibility are paramount to maintaining positive customer relationships. Been there many times, but this time you failed miserably. I pulled up to person talking orders and she barked at me to pull up and said they, pointing to speakers, will take my order. I sat there for about three minutes and no one came on speaker. I called out a number of times but no one answered. Cars backed up behind me who had their orders taken. Still no one would take mine. I was in inside lane and couldn't get out or I would have left. Started blowing my horn to get attention to order. Finally someone came. I explained what was going on and requested mgr and told that would happen at window. Explained that I should get a free order for mistreatment. Gave my order. Drove to window and explained again. Told to hold on. Another person came up. Told second mgr.and ask to explain again. I was now totally unhinged. Told story again asking for sales girl to pay for my order or I would leave.
