Dunkin' — Restaurant in Dothan

Not only do I get great service with a smile every time I come here, but the employees are top notch! One employee specifically - Alexia - is one that deserves recognition as she went above and beyond her responsibilities to ensure my mistake wouldn't cost me. I managed to lose my company credit card outside and rather than throwing it out or worse, using it, she called me. When she called, I was on the other line with a customer and missed her call. Alexia went out of her way to call me again several times until I answered and she let me know she found my card. Beyond that, it took me longer than expected to return to DD to get my card, but Alexia stayed behind after her shift to ensure she put it directly in my hands and nobody else's. It may seem a small gesture but I'm sure she had a ton of other places she would rather be than at work waiting on some bimbo who can't keep up with her card. She did not have to do that. There are currently two good Dunkin locations in Dothan. This one has potential but isn't one of them. The other two, one on the Circle across from Flying J and the other out Hwy. 231 North by Walmart, offer something very specific--customer service. You still have to wait occasionally, but they go out of their way to be kind and makeup for any missing product with excellent service.

This location? Well, it varies. Everyone has bad days, but you're working in a "care" oriented business. Looking offended and ignoring customer attempts to interact regarding your food and beverages is not a successful applications of caring service. Sticking a drink on the counter and walking away doesn't actually tell anyone who your intended recipent is or what you're actually doing. This isn't the only location that suffers from an off-putting attitude, but come on, guys!? All it takes is a friendly, "Welcome!" to completely change the atmosphere. Dunkin' let me tell y’all about the team at 1865 E. Main St. Dothan😍 This team is always the most friendly and helpful I have ever experienced at Dunkin’💯 & I have visited them from Panama City Beach to Tallahassee, to Birmingham to Gainesville & no other compares to my home store!🤞🏼As an Emt I’m on the go with 911 ALL day & believe me we are blazing the roads all day to and from the hospital. & I know if I need a pick me up I will only stop at this location. They know how to get my coffee fix prompt and exactly how I like it. 90% of the time they see me pull up on the ambulance and they already have my order going before I make it in the store! I know they have to be tired of seeing me but they always greet me with a smile on their faces! I couldn’t ask for better service and great personalities! It’s the “Be safe out there today.” For me! 🥲 Y’all are just as essential as I am and I thank y’all for your service! & keep being great!☺️
