Stopped here early on Tuesday evening. They werenāt too busy luckily. Had the mango salmon. Not sure it was worth the hype as recommended from server. Fairly small piece and seemed as if it just had a jarred sauce poured in it. Was expecting a fresh salsa/sauce from what the waiter described. Veggies with the salmon were good. Chips and salsa were yummy - thin chips and tasty salsa - although I wish theyād used a larger size of salsa bowl or give one for each person. Took us a bit to track waiter down for some more salsa. The table side guacamole was awesome. Partner had the choripollo entree. Have tried it many places and itās a favorite but it was a bit lackluster here sadly. Very little pineapple-hard to find it in the dish - tons of onions - which we usually like but almost too much without any pineapple to balance it - and the chorizo was super greasy more than typical. And, some delightful smells from the meals passing by! Our server recommended the Fajita salad with chicken to me and it has quickly become my favorite. I can only say that itās a feast for the eyes and the stomach. As delicious as the picture looks! I can also vouch for the small house margarita as well as very tasty chips and salsa. My hubby loves the chicken fajitas well done (we both love our veggies grilled dark,) and their beef enchiladas. The accompanying rice and beans are much better than other restaurants weāve frequented. We tend to arrive earlier than most patrons, so itās usually not too busy and maybe why we get such great service, but I doubt it! Our waiter started out being very defensive when we asked about a frozen drink. They hadn't gotten their machine yet but offered a frozen drink on the menu. He chilled out upon returning. Maybe we will return in a much later date when they get more organized. I understand opening a new restaurant has its kinks. Update~ we have returned after their opening several times.
