I was extremely displeased with my service last night (2/11). Let me start by saying I was prepared to waot as it was friday night on valentines weekend. However my husband wanted to treat me for my birthday and all of our previous experiences were wonderful. Our wait to be seated was fairly short and we were overjoyed. Truthfully I wasn't even bothered when we had to wait for someone to wipe it down. Again I expected a wait. We waited for a moment before the waitress came and got our drink orders and then shortly after came back for our orders. We wanted sweet teas and then requested a texas tonion. My husband ordered the longhorn with double fries. I got the ribeye and double steamed broccolli with caesar salad. I asked for an alcohol list and was informed there wasnt much selection. No biggy we will just have tea. The tea was so sweet I mearly gagged. Ok it happens. Our bread was brought with our drinks. We werent given silverware so we just sat there. 30 minutes later my salad came and we were able to ask for silverware and to swap our drinks as it was simply too much for us. Mind you we havent seen our waitress again. Soon after our food came with new drinks however my steak wasnt quite done enough (simple mistake) I sent it back and then the manager brought it back the part I cut was ok so we continued we also got the 8ct shrimp with our steaks but we specifically requested no pilaf and was given it anyway. My broccolli was undercooked rather than double. The salad was all root and unedible. The steak was so peppery it was almost too much however though I tried to proceed it got redder and redder. I ate 6 of my shrimp and didnt finish anything else. My husband ate his shrimp and maybe half his steak for choking on pepper. The fries were so salty he almost choked as well. By this point we assumed our waitress left. Finally she reappeared (after another 35 minutes of us just sitting there) when she did return we asked for the check. When she asked if everything was ok my husbamd responded with not really but we just wanna get the check and go. The manager returned with pur check and a coupon for free appetizer or desert next time we dine in. (Just to add I will not be again at this branch) Which was not even close to making up for a horrible dinner. We then had to chase someone down to pay the check. Again same manager to the rescue. He was trying but didnt have much to work with. Thanks for ruining a birthday dinner for two common blue collar normal people trying to enjoy a night without the kids. $92 and change for food we couldnt even frikin eat. Disliked doesn't cover our bad experience last night. I will not be returning to the Dothan resteraunt. First time ive celebrated my birthday in years and its ruined. (I tried to privately message someone but they have a character limit and I had much...
Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at LongHorn Steakhouse, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The restaurant's warm and inviting ambiance immediately set the stage for a memorable evening.
To start, the service was impeccable. Our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They took the time to explain the various cuts of steak and offered excellent recommendations, making our decision-making process much easier.
For the appetizer, we tried the Wild West Shrimp, and it was a flavor explosion. The crispy shrimp combined with the spicy cream sauce had the perfect balance of heat and creaminess. It was an excellent way to kick off the meal.
Now, on to the main event—the steaks. LongHorn Steakhouse knows how to prepare a steak to perfection. I ordered the Renegade Sirloin, and it was cooked exactly as I had requested, a perfect medium-rare. Each bite was juicy and bursting with flavor. The seasoning was just right, enhancing the natural taste of the meat without overpowering it. The sides, including the loaded baked potato and seasoned vegetables, complemented the steak beautifully.
What truly sets LongHorn Steakhouse apart is the attention to detail in their food preparation. The dishes are cooked with care and expertise, resulting in a truly exceptional dining experience.
The dessert was the perfect way to end the meal. We shared the Chocolate Stampede, a delightful combination of chocolate, brownies, and ice cream that satisfied our sweet cravings. It was the ideal conclusion to a fantastic meal.
In addition to the outstanding food, the restaurant's atmosphere and decor create a cozy, rustic charm. Whether you're on a romantic date, celebrating a special occasion, or simply enjoying a night out, LongHorn Steakhouse provides the ideal setting.
LongHorn Steakhouse exceeded my expectations in every aspect. From the moment we walked in to the last bite of dessert, it was a memorable dining experience. The staff's professionalism, the delicious food, and the warm ambiance all combined to create a meal that I won't soon forget. I can confidently recommend LongHorn Steakhouse to anyone seeking a top-notch...
Read moreMy Friend and I took our children to your Dothan establishment (5/17/25). We called and told to be there at 6:30 pm . The last car of our party arrived at 6:25. We preceded to tell the people inside our whole party of 12 was here. We were told we were next . We sat back down outside for an hour and we we were told the table was being cleaned and being called 5 min tops. Back outside the weather was starting to get bad I as asked if there was a place inside to sit someone said yes come on in son in. It was already 7:00. We were told by so many people we we next. My boiling point had been reached. A manager came over and said that we had 3 choices split into groups and have tables all over the restaurant, 2 wait for a few min when 3 tables get up together you take those or 3 wait for large booth which could open anytime. We choose 2 but if 3 came before 2 we'll take that. We were respectful no yelling even though there should have been. We went back sat down and watched parties of 15, 9, 8, 4, 3, even a different party of 12 called they came in after us and got seated before us. My friend went up and asked what the deal was all those groups going before us. Then Scott tells the kid us being seated is not going to happen til 8:30 - 9:00. I went off we had a 6 year old (that'shandicap), 4 kids that range from 15 to 34 ( 3 are disabled ). Adults that range 40 to 80 (2 are handicap). Sitting there trying to explain to the six year old why they get to eat and she can't. Praying that it's not because of race scared that it maybe. When I went to tell my Grandma that anytime soon is not going to happen. When a manager told her she was next.
