The very first time my coworker introduced me to this place months ago it was amazing. I would have given it 5 stars, it became my new favorite place. But my second experience was not so great. I did a pick up, and it wasnt ready when I got there (no big deal) but my issue was I had to wait, and I drove literally 2 lights away and when I went to eat, everything was cold. There should be no reason traveling 5 minutes away made everything cold so fast, the queso had to be microwaved right away for it to be normal. I felt like my food was bland, the tomatoes in the pico were not fresh, and the limes I was given were mostly pulp no juice. I was very disappointed. Not to mention there was a homeless guy right outside the door yelling random things creeping me out when I left. I havent decided if I will give this place another try after my latest experience.

I ended up at Taqueria Jalisco because my regular Mexican restaurant is closed on Monday. I was not all that happy with the FULL order of ground beef nacho supreme with onions and green peppers added. The serving was nowhere comparable to other Mexican Restaurants that sell nacho supremes. The onions and bell peppers were beyond burnt, and the lettuce and tomatoes consisted of one piece of tomato. The ONLY reason I ate it was because I had just gotten back into town, and was tired, and because Taqueria Jalisco was too far to take it back. The picture is of the one tomato piece and the burnt onions/green peppers.

NOT BAD... I ordered via door dash the fajita burrito and the chips & sauce were fresh but the Chicken Fajita Burrito was packed in my to go container like it was threw together and covered with a flour tortilla. It tasted better than it looked thank goodness ! (This might have been due to the fact that it was near closing time) Overall it was not bad & a large portion which was very filling.

I went in today like around 7pm with my uncle for dinner. He came to visit from out of town and I wanted him to have a nice time. Unfortunately it was the total opposite. When we sat down at the table the waitress came she already had a nasty attitude. She took our order. When she brought the the food out she did just that.....she didn't once come back to check if we needed refills or anything. My uncle was trying to get her attention or anyone else's for that matter. No one came. There were several workers next to the bar just chit chatting amongst themselves. We waited a bit to see if the waitress would come by. She didn't. After trying to get someone's attention again he tapped the table with the empty bottle still nothing. We continue eating. Keep in mind my uncle had no more drink for a good while. He needed something to wash the food down so he taps the table again this time a bit harder. This time getting the attention of a gentleman who comes to us also with an attitude saying "you can't do that here! This is not your house!" We told him we had been waiting for the waitress or anyone for that matter to come refill/bring more drink. He said they were very busy. Y'all were literally just standing there. Clearly we were visible from where they were. Not once did anyone say "I'll be there in a bit" Nothing. Then the guy that came said " ahorita les traigo la cuenta pa que ya...." "I'll bring your check so you can" he didn't finish the sentence. Absolutely unprofessional on his part. He didn't know nor did he care if my uncle was choking on the food. The waitress did NOT come back at all. I paid the tab and left. I will NOT recommend and ABSOLUTELY will not be coming back! Bien despota el hombre narizon casi nos queria golpear... To both the waitress and him If you don't like working people then...

Disappointed with Our First Visit

We were really looking forward to trying this Mexican restaurant, but unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming from the start. After being seated, it took quite a while for our drinks to arrive, even just water. Meanwhile, a larger party of six that was seated after us had already received their chips, salsa, and drinks well before we even got our water.

When our waitress Alicia finally came back to take our order, we placed it and waited about 10 minutes for the food, which wouldn’t have been bad if the restaurant had been busy—but it was nearly empty. What really stood out was that the other table, again seated after us, received their food before we did. Their waitress was attentive and checked on them multiple times. Alicia came out once during the meal, and I still didn’t receive silverware until I had to ask.

As for the food, it was a big letdown. My enchiladas were cold and lacked flavor. The rice and black beans were decent, but the ceviche was dry and served in a large plate that made the small portion even more noticeable. It was missing the signature citrusy juice that ceviche usually comes with, and we didn’t have a chance to ask for more since the waitress never came back until we were already done eating.

Even getting the check took another seven minutes. My mother wanted a second margarita but gave up after waiting too long for our server to return.

Overall, the service was slow and inattentive, and the food did not live up to expectations. Very disappointed, especially for a first visit, and unfortunately, it’ll also...

One of THE worst racist “Mexican” establishments in Douglasville!!!!! The older lady who serves…. TERRIBLE!!!!!! Seriously….. HORRIFIC attitude. No matter how much you smile, say thank you, or try to be nice… TERRIBLE table manners. Cops was called on my family, started over some cheese. Our food had NO melted cheese, in which comes with the food. Spoke to the MOD (lap dog) about the lack of cheese, in which he was adamant about us having to pay for the cheese. COOL…. But eventually he said he was going to GIVE us a small amount…. Even better!!! But the manager, lap dog, owner— whomever he is, tried to say my husband was trying to hit him. NOT TRUE! My husband deflected his arm out of the way after he was trying to grab my husband’s plate. The deflection was because my husband made a statement, TO ME; “I’m going to walk away and go outside”…. The lap dog thinking he was talking to him and got confrontational and threatened him. It’s not even about the cheese, it’s the principle in which YOU LIED and they saw it on camera!!!! So now, because of the lap dog’s ignorance and his lying words…. We’re no longer allowed in this nasty establishment!! It’s not even “authentic”. But it’s ok! Way better places to eat Mexican in Douglasville, that really is AUTHENTIC and...
