Seafood Pot 2 — Restaurant in Douglasville

when this place first open, their food was way much better than it is now. I get the turkey neck combo quite often and I’m not sure how fresh it is or how long they keep it out before preparing an starving it. But the last two times that I have went here and got the same thing I always order which is B9 which it is turkey necks that comes with, shrimp, potato, and corn it used to come with broccoli but anyway My stomach had cramps really bad the next day and I’m on the toilet nonstop in which the first time I noticed it the next day I did call up there and they told me that it was fresh… but when it happened, the second time I got the turkey combo this past Saturday which was on the . November 30th. and I’ve been on the toilet since then with the runs cramping stomach. I had to work Sunday and I was constantly back-and-forth to the bathroom I made bowel movements six times at work that was the only food I had ate the previous day before work. Didn’t even have breakfast the next day because I couldn’t really eat … today is December 2 and I’m still running back-and-forth to the bathroom., it starts with a cramping in my stomach so if it continues tomorrow which will be December 3 2024, I will be going to the emergency room to figure out what’s going on.. i’m just hoping that it’s not a tapeworm or a food virus etc…. I will hope that they are preparing the food correctly no cross-contamination, etc.. But as far as from that, the customer service is great. I just need them to make sure they’re handling the food properly a lot of the seafood places are starting to get called out and having to close down from not handling food properly getting people sick.. when it comes to seafood, especially it should be examined properly, making sure there’s no parasites making sure they’re no cross contamination going on. They do have a lot of young people that they hire which to me young people move fast not really careful when it comes to handling food …I’m not sure if I would go back to...

I went in today and order the tilapia fish, shrimp, and fried plate as I began to eat my food it was hair in my fish so I went back on the owner A Asian lady came and said she would recook so I said ok then the next plate I had, had another piece of hair in it had to go back in a second time and show her again that it was hair again at this time she got angry and had the audacity to tell me I did not know what I was talking about, and that was not hair It was a piece of bone in the fish. First of all tilapia has no bones. Secondly, a bone is not brown the color of her hair and thirdly, you can feel the difference between a piece of hair in a bone in your fish. Then I was going to just order chicken she told the young lady at the front that was taking orders do not take my order because I didn’t know what I was talking about owner are not this is wrong you do not talk to people in this way and it’s not my fault that her and her cooks should be wearing hair nets me and my family will never go back again her attitude was very redicious The young lady at the front that was taking my order, even said to me, she said ma’am, you was correct that was a piece of hair, not a bone. Don’t ever in your life go to seafood pot 2 on Fairburn road‼️ I ordered $42.80 worth of food. A lobster tail, shrimp rolls, bag of vegetables and 2 drinks. I ate the shrimp rolls on the way home and my son and I drank our drinks. I started on the my food and realized there were bugs in my vegetables. I called the store instantly and told them I would be returning the remaining of the food. When I got there the young girl in the front talked to the owner who advised she would not refund me because I had ate some of the food. I advised her that I wasn’t trying to get a full refund(even through I threw up the other food when I saw the bugs) I told her I wanted a refund on the food that was not eaten. She said she would only refund the food with the bugs. Then went as far as to accuse me of just trying to get free food. Ma’am I am a foodie and would pay $1000 for good food! She didn’t even look at the food. Just automatically assumed someone was trying to hustle her out of food. Ma’am you can’t make me patronize somewhere that has bugs in their food. I will be calling the health department when they open on Monday....
